Sleeplessness

-lost and can not find
something too far out of reach
just need a little

migraine pains they creep
 black dog images appear
dry eyes blurred vision

no motivation
tossing turning twisted sheets
two dogs that can sleep

 if only I could
for now I will close my eyes
 pretending to sleep

Personally, i wish God had made sleep optional, i have enough projects for 2+ lifetimes & felt so since a teen, But, like you ( w/health lifetime issues), sleep is a desired refuge! For me. Deep prayer will float me into a warmth & peace of sleep, w/ migraines tho, dont pray words; go taking God on the routes of relaxing your nerves toes up to your crown. Try…God bless you! Super haiku series!

Sorry to hear of your sleepless night, Karen. Life is harder when we don't get a good night's sleep. Good to see you back, my friend. Nice Haiku as usual. Smiles ~ Blessings from A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Those nights when sleep stays far away are really hard ones. Melatonin can help some people and certain foods can be beneficial to aid sleep. You can just ask the question on your search engine on the internet. Thanks for sharing this one and for your kind review of my work. Sara
