Limboesque
Caught within the membranes
of a lost tomorrow,

time stood still

No sound, no sight, no
fresh vibration,

as eternity waits

the thinnest of membranes are kept apart

Wailing Soul
returning home
end of the night of
mortal wrongs forgotten
chemistry of love effervescence
in the broken glass jar
alkaline burns of thin membranes
bursting like a bubble
fuming creatures of rage
writhing in the
path of a wail-
ing soul...

Hospice
Giving up,
we lose ourselves
in soft denials,
tally up bone-tinted
Kodaks – recall
brief glints of eye,
succinct resemblances
of generations.

Listlessly,
we wait
death’s domination—
cool brushes
of wind,
flutterings
of waxen wings
& last breaths,
dusky, distant
as the webbed
membranes
of memories....

Premium Member I Just Realized
I just realized, that
most of my poems
are about love – Albeit,
not the physical aspects
of love – I mean, how often
we need to feel one another
up? For the different aspects
of love may be infinite: starting
with the Touchy-feely, sinking us
deeper, beyond – penetrating
membranes of surface moisture
to far vaster
thermal seas –...

gentleness a brushed lingering
rising waves of repetition unfold
achingly intense
crisp as belled glass

sliding up and down scales
darkness sharp and ivory keys

Just So
I am the rain you hear
between your heartbeats,
as the feather floating above
reeds, of time
I fly

with hands infinitesimal
I stroke the hairs
on the nape of your neck
to considerable highs

within mucus and membranes
I interweave,
sweeping specks
of lightning off my back

so, I am
still

all and nothing
a sum of wear
and the ‘O’ in one...

Premium Member Esoteric truths
Given that existence is a seamless whole,
separated by invisible membranes,
each packet of consciousness in its life role,
to expand awareness, against this veil strains
and thus we may recognise space too as such,
cognised in staid stillness by single eye’s touch,
amazed to behold light piercing through its pores,
mirrored at our core, on opening truth’s doors....

Walking In the Rain
Walking In The Rain

In the rain
I like to walk
When my heart
Is in pain,
Walking keeps me
Contained.

The cold drops
On my face,
Make me
Feel sane
And numbs the pain.

Rain helps the membranes
of my brain
sort out this pain
before my train
derails and wanes.

My world
rocks and shakes
when I sit still
but
seems to
stay the same
when I
walk in the rain....

The Heart of Your Sea
You pull me
Through precipitation and perspiration
I come to You

The swamps of my Saliva,
the marshes of my muscles,

You pull me
Through erosion and evaporation
I come to You

The stream of my spinal cord,
the meanders of my membranes,

You pull me,
Through clamminess and condensation
I come to You

The pools of my plasma,
the basin of my bladder,

I come to You,
to the heart of Your sea....

Flames swallow oxygen,
duplicitous in their deeds,
circumventing steel barriers—
steel barriers doubling over.

Ashen soot cakes the walls;
walls crumble, interlacing with soot.
Pyres of fire lick the night sky;
crimson smoke suffuses the air.

Breathing in microparticles,
microparticles sticking
to fibrous membranes—
breathing collapses.

Lit match—ignition,
cinders glow.

Premium Member Butterfly Maiden
In the enchanted forest
A maiden so fair
Beautiful looks
Long golden hair

All around they flutter
As one lands on her hand
Its as if they have heard
Her wishful command

Their silky wings
Membranes in view
As they flutter at still
A creature so true

Graceful in delight
Like this maiden so fair
In the enchanted forest
Oh! i wish i was there

Didactic Pollen
Fresh dust
bevels the
stagnant rot
of complacency
hollowing out
better purpose.

Are we
the imaginings
of seraphic
spirits and
demons rivaling
the majesty
of living?

When plumbing
the shaft
of consciousness,
linear thought
corrupts with
persistence the
notion of
time elements

folding membranes
with complicity
most jaunty
without regard
to infinity
within each
daring creation
etched firm
upon clay....

They Flock In Groups of Three
They flock in groups of three
and feast on shattered molecules.
They nag at your shoestrings,
waiting
for the moment you become vulnerable.
They will gnaw at your pulsating membranes,
leave a mangled carcass,
and consider their next victim.
They thrive between the living and the dead,
unsure of which path to pursue,
and as their claws rot and
their follicles disintegrate,
they will regret every moment
of their cancerous lives....

THE VIOLIN PLAYER

Poised chin, resting warmly in the tailored cup,
     Seals the union.
The smooth bow tenderly caresses each tuned string;
    Fingers gentle as milk
Roam the slender mahogany neck: sweetly
     Stealing silence.

The ebony hued harmonic vault echoes released passions
     Of an innocent heart
Bleeding a mosaic canvas: coloring metered air
     With cosmic rhythms.

Cosmic rhythms: teasing tympanic membranes
     With melodic ecstasy....

Be Grateful
In a world where slavery is a mercantile trade
remember to be grateful to your legs
though they limp

I shall remember to thank my lips for the tired yawn
that activates the nerves each grey day
though they reek of charred tobacco

I shall remember to thank my lungs
for purifying my soul while walking on grass
though I pant when I miss the elevator

Membranes beyond the nose
for safe ventilation
eyelashes that gag emotions
the kneecap for play and prayer
 you're a deal...
