Glass Bells

tentatively we touch
gentleness a brushed lingering
rising waves of repetition unfold
achingly intense
crisp as belled glass

full of heartache, plump with longing
life races toward … to ward …
in spiral tip toed pirouettes

the imagery is so nice here, Debs. It's unusual and full of different kinds of emotions.

Dear Deb, Quite sensual and in a very good way. You have a romantic heart, dear. As for Crater Lake: "Fish are not native to the lake. They were introduced in the lake from 1888-1941. Six species were originally stocked, but only two have survived to today: Rainbow Trout and Kokanee Salmon." Guess we won't be fishing there. Love you, Carolyn

When I listen to the piano I am often overcome with emotion. I enjoyed the imagery of fragility you created with this piece. I felt lifted by the notes this inserted into my being.
