Walking In the Rain

Walking In The Rain

In the rain
I like to walk
When my heart
Is in pain,
Walking keeps me
Contained.

The cold drops
On my face,
Make me
Feel sane
And numbs the pain.

Rain helps the membranes
of my brain
sort out this pain
before my train
derails and wanes.

My world
rocks and shakes
when I sit still
but
seems to
stay the same
when I
walk in the rain.
