Butterfly Maiden

In the enchanted forest
A maiden so fair
Beautiful looks
Long golden hair

All around they flutter
As one lands on her hand
Its as if they have heard
Her wishful command

Their silky wings
Membranes in view
As they flutter at still
A creature so true

Graceful in delight
Like this maiden so fair
In the enchanted forest
Oh! i wish i was there

This is super souper words. I enjoyed this one. It touched me across the Atlantic in this state of Georgia. Continue to pen those enchanting words. Sara

Such a delightful scene of the woman attracting beautiful butterflies as she stands in the forest. There is a butterfly pavilion in Georgia where they actually do land on people. Such marvels of grace and beauty! Lovely poem, James! Love, Carolyn
