Premium Member romantic bird music
This is romantic bird magic the cardinal said about the love birds blue
The excited youngsters were trilling and tweeting in April’s dew.
The smitten joyful couple was happy to take photos, curtesy and coo.
That’s the way it is, when love is true, said the cardinal, matchmaker Sue....

Oh, gorgeous darling pink bunny in a silk kimono, you are beauty with a B.
We sit and wait for your attention, my mother, brother, daddy and me.
We expect great things to come out of your mind as you drink your tea.
We had an enormous build up from our family matchmaker, Cousin Dee....

Premium Member Old Bossy
Who knew old bossy
crooned on the streets of Anatevka?
She fiddled around as a marine;
and a matchmaker on Broadway.
This Golden Girl, Auntie Mame,
Bea Arthur, served her country
then lent her husky voice to debunk
Archie, putting him in his place.
This Archibald served in the Big One
fictitiously, but wow, the one
who’d jump into Maude’s skin
was a World War II Marine.

Premium Member But Only Half
Listen to poem:
Don’t wear your heart on your sleeve
People wont understand what they see

Don’t leave your heart at someone’s feet
For that’s no place for it to be

Carry your heart before you
In the palm of your hand

And consult it every day
On those things for which you must take a stand

Your heart is half of you
But only half

But only half (C) 1986 Susan Manley

Premium Member Charm
She was a lady of charm and grace
whose attire was chantilly lace
with the rich and famous she mingled
a matchmaker was she, but single

At her mansion they held a dance
where she was hoping to find romance
the fellow she met was quite charming
but his character was abrupt and alarming

She dismissed him thus, and had him thrown out
her prince charming she hoped, was somewhere about
and as she despaired her chance for romance
a charming prince asked her to dance...

Mad Minstrel
medieval monsters
mischievously meander
in the mind of the mad minstrel
like maggots in mazes
his mysterious muse
masterfully mining for misery
melting in molten memories
of macabre mirrors
ministering malicious mistakes
morbity mottled
with the maniacal matchmaker
who masquerades with malevolence
masticating the meat
milking the marrow
the minstrel's music
a maddening march
motioning to the murder
of mental mortar
mashing morals
his mouth moving
malignant music
marked by madness...
