Love, my love has grown pale.
Lovelorn is alarming me, I fear loveless
Even though I have accepted lovesick.
Love I applaude you, you've thought me well.
I had suddenly become oh so violently ill
Through the days in which you made my own longing heart stand still.
I have to ensure I do not lose control, by taking this pill.
Upon our wicked heads–rain down
Your lovesick gift;
Of cloudy birthright,
Enthrall my vile seas–
Make heaven of
This autumn forest;
I wait to rot
Amidst your trees.
A lovesick poke took his guitar
to find his true love at the bars.
When her beau heard the tune,
he went over the moon,
crashed to earth, and saw lots of stars.
did you hear about the lovesick spider
who loves a fly and decided to hide her
he adores her beautiful wings
and the lovely song she sings
but got hungry and couldn't help but bite her
Grey hairs
Lonely
Lovesick
Worried
Many thoughts
Fewer talks
Fewer hopes
Fewer friends
Less will to live
The only thing
That keeps me going
On the zigzag way of life
Is the desire to be loved.
full my ceaseless soul clasp each beat
once more to seek one last chance to greet

Desperate be the matter:
When “fished” out of water
Yet, lovesick Valentine
I snap “hook” and “twine”....
Out of my warm fountain
For her in a hot mountain!

On Valentine's Day Cupid rules,
A bow and arrow his trusty tools.
He shoots an arrow at a he,
Then takes aim at a she,
And they both become lovesick fools.

morn!
lovesick
Blue jay croons,
squirrels scurry
in haste for ever…
boisterous in grey coat.
breathtaking vermilion tinge
painting sky with glistening hue,
intoxicated July dreamscapes
idyllic beauty of glorious day!
Baby I can bet on it
My love for you is concrete
God knows for you I am fit
In my life you are top hit
I feel lovesick when we meet
Because you are so much sweet
You can control my heartbeat
You can make my task complete
Let me
Off of this ship that is tossing me
Violently
Eyes are not serving me
Still I look longingly
I just want someone to
Calm this commotion and
Kill this emotion. I'm lovesick.
The eastern gale hath done us part,
Her blighting hale ensues;
‘Til death in brushes strokes its harp
Thy love is but a ruse.
The summer whale hath blown her hair
Across this lovesick sea;
‘Twas long ago I said to her
Make heavenly of me.
moon mesmerizes
and bewitches your senses
with
AN ENCHANTING SPELL
moon lights the candle
that melts with ardent passion
two
HEARTS IN ERUPTION
moon kissed the peach cheeks
in the ravishing twilight
when
TWO LOST SOULS MELTED

I can't help that
When I'm around you,
My heart starts beating
like a million drums,
In perfect rhythm.
I can't help it,
If my knees go weak
Everytime I see you.
And that I get butterflies.
I know,
I sound like a lovesick
10 year-old girl.
But I just can't help it.
Though the chance to win your heart is bleak
If I see you I become lovesick
Wherever I go I can’t forget you
Oh I love you so much God knows I do
Whenever you hum a song of love
It seems so true that you are my half
Whatever you do impresses me
If you are a rose I am a bee
The birds are chirping
A brook is gurgling nearby
Plenty of Spring sounds
Beautiful noise surrounds me
All this lovesick one can bear

My life is not the same
since my true love has gone
now i live as an outsider
my life is not the same
i am now weak not a fighter
so tell me how can i hang on ?
my life is not the same
since my true love has gone
Like any given star,
no matter how distant you are,
you become brighter still,
and I guess you always will
as I learn better yet to know
undimmed radiance, steady glow
of your magical self and the hope
you still bestow on this lovesick dope.
Christopher M. Swan, “Song of Susan,” 2008
inhale, the lovesick
bursting sunshine rain
every moment beats
ceaseless warm feeling
acoustic years passed
like ascending vines
yet fainted hued shadow
peers through ripen binds
inhale, redefines
flourish aloft through
as time sweeps away
to first dawning light
and gasp a sound waft

No more of that,
Lovesick feeling.
No more of that,
Glance-stealing.
Depression puddle,
Spilled on the floor.
I won't go back,
Towards that door.
Now, I don't feel it,
It's over...
No, I don' t need it,
No more...
Things change...
Even if you ask for it,
It won't come back.
Because things have changed...
She loves me, she loves me not
Curse this little flower,
Every petal I remove
The more I fear it's power.
It may be just a game
It may bear no proof,
But I'm in love and desperate,
I need to know the truth.
If only she would tell me
That I was in her heart,
I would not be sat here lovesick,
Pulling this bloom apart.
Resuscitate my limerence
In you, in playful ignorance
I'm tossed up in a whirling trance
Lovesick I co-star.
Fantasy romance—our affair
My heart is trapped in your despair
Love's one-sided blockbuster airs,
and yet here we are.

palimpsest of love—
laurel dreams and libido
fiddle in the hum,
winding soul, smitten and raw—
coral heart churning through tides.
lovesick soul hums soft,
coral and laurel entwined—
fiddle of the heart.
