I saw a lizard lose its tail
severed by a rusty nail
Off he scooted
in shock I guess
now an...izard
but what the heck.
A lizard eyes me,
and I, too, eye him
with mutual respect.
The sun warms
the leathery skin
we wear to great effect.
lizard or llama
which do you want?
I think hard.
Both please.
You can only have one.
Stern look.
I hate my parents.
You
Will not
See dragons
Smoking any
Cigarettes; they can
Incinerate
One just by
Lighting
It.
Worlds largest lizard
They are island gigantism

Spiny horned lizard
Arizona sand digger
Flat body blunt snout
Where are you going
With slithery ugliness
Wait up old friend
Lizard mesmerizes prey
Insect wings are quite fast
Eyes swirling about bulge out
Dinner is but a tongue strike away
Let us pray
A Greek flag torn
Flailing in the warm winds
From the Orthodox dome
Church bells toll
A roadside lizard pauses
By the bins
Decide the world's fate/nothing changes but the year/so who made YOU God?

The strangest sounds I never heard
Are from a lizard and a bird -
The quiet voice of the gecko,
A duck’s quack that doesn’t echo.
The freaking lizard
On the fading wall I saw
Reminds me on him.
lizard creeps 'neath a leaf
thinks it's perfectly
hidden
tail dangling glossy green,
it's lizardly sure it's
unseen
Best described as lizard slime,
Larry was worst of all time.
His big rheumy nose
was red as a rose
And his eyes glowed green as lime!
Haiku Fun
the lizard sits still
watching the flies; snatch! snatch! slurp!
the flies are no more
cockroach searches food
hunter lizard practises
ants take their own share
red tempers
lizard brains come forth
rage
too many video games

Lizard woman with mellow yellow face
Puts a fellow into a squirming place
I gave her a nod
She sniffed like a clod
We won’t be propagating human race
The luckless leper’s lousily lobbing
Lame libel at Lords and Ladies along
His lonesome lane, a lizard in limbo
Loafing on his lowly laurels, laughing.
You pass at the steps/you look at him, he does you/no words just flying

white ceiling, high, wide
pale lizard, dark underside
brown moth gone, inside !
Languorous heatwave
Provence blooms in high summer
Wisteria surge
Chorus of sounds surround me
Small lizard climbs farmhouse wall.
Lizards are lazing here and there.
Kids enjoy the water sprayer.
Crows're hopping 'round
across burning ground.
Please soon end this summer affair!
heaviest lizard intimidates me
just how heavy can a giant beast be?
a curly buffalo eater
has gulped down brother Peter
Komodo dragon I now run from thee
Dreamt of a giant lizard snake last night
Gave mother and me a horrible fright.
A nightmare for sure
Believably pure,
Creature was an abhorrent ugly sight
Sits at my bedroom window
Laughs at me till day-break
When I ask why it tells me;
“You are another lizard
While asleep your head
Moves like mine on wall”
