Unknowing,
Unfeeling,
Nothing,
Everything,
Empty,
Alone,
Forgotten,
Never was,
Never is,
Never will be,
Limbo.
To have loved and lost
are a heaven and a hell;
and the place between
is their own purgatory,
a limbo of sorting out.
Sink deep into the past.
Aware this life won't last.
Think dreamily into the future.
Aware that I cannot always be so sure.
Undelivered thoughts
Stuck in a postal limbo
Like lost love letters
With the only proof they were,
Random shouts in solitude
Voices fading into hollow
Total desolation
Lost in own thoughts
Vicious circle
Vastness, timelessness
New friends
My world, my limbo
Before I started asking,
I was too busy living
The questions still in limbo
—the answers undefined
(Villanova Pennsylvania: July, 2019)
What remains beyond
lingering breaths, the silence
where laughter once lived?
I wait, counting the number
of days since last you kissed me.
Encased in darkness
neither here there anywhere,
locked in misery
a reminder each day
the devil keeps his promise.

Swirly and curly,
Wiggles and spots,
irrational, irritable thoughts,
Raw feelings,
Limbo,
idealistic thought patterns,
Sense of muddle,
Memory full.
Dusty windows reflected fading dreams,
Of items treasured now lost in schemes
Of hopes long lost or freshly dashed,
Left in limbo as cheques were cashed.
The luckless leper’s lousily lobbing
Lame libel at Lords and Ladies along
His lonesome lane, a lizard in limbo
Loafing on his lowly laurels, laughing.
The Earth in determinate places,
is almost the same as Limbo..
In others, almost as hell...
So we submit to this reality,
there is no paradise here...!
date with destiny?
mammogram and ultra sound
breast core biopsy
I'm lost in Limbo
truth will be revealed Friday
I wish time could fly
Indifference ineptitude the soul of sorrow
I see here.. In this media led world
Laughter is bought, sentiment directed
Mankind in limbo with value de-selected.
Icicles hang,
Crystalline and pure
Like tear drops
Frozen in time
An encapsulated moment
Of joy or sorrow?
Held in icy limbo
Until the sun
Releases the tears
Form:
When feelings stop,
words take over
Emotion harried,
pen unleashed
Heart in limbo,
mind resurging
Muse in waiting
—time released
(Dreamsleep: March, 2022)
Fighting his very nature,
conflict raging inside him again
Feelings demand what thoughts can’t command
—neither enemy nor friend
(Dreamsleep: September, 2019)
mid-September wind
the breeze on my countenance
sunlight on my cheeks
Autumn’s just getting started
lambaste of limbo awakes
9/18/2019
Inflation climb and poll’s descent.
He needs help - his back, way too bent.
How low can one go
‘neath the limbo pole?
Old Prez is at thirty percent.
sunshine, space, space to write. above these three, praying right away to write this all away. darkness, limbo, blank pages, blank spaces. I’ll write anyway - right away.
in stagnant water
aesthetic ecstasy sinks~
engulphed by a lake
planks in protrusion
brooding clouds enshroud a pier~
silver lining plush
I think my situation is finally sinking in.
I wish I wasn't stuck inside of this pathetic skin.
To dream, to die
Is it all the same?
A limbo where I
only whisper your name...
Form:
Zapping your xylophone
While viewing unhappiness
The still reverberating quietus
Pounds on my limbo.
Kings jump in high garters
Feathered elands dive
Catching beautiful aardvarks.
if today went up in smoke
where would i be?
who would i be?
would god come for me?
i have that feeling that i'm
not alone in my questions
we're just all lost in limbo
waiting for answers
Do our children inherit
our shadows
Denied of the light
their birthright implies
Willing them darkness
in probated limbo
Leaving what sorrow
—forever reminds
(Dreamsleep: January, 2023)
