perfect autumn day
a romantic proposal
raven lands on knee
the groom is startled
the crow is victorious
ruining the mood
Summer heat rising
Sweat lubricates the brow a
Single drop of sweat
Escapes the swipe of an arm
Lands on concrete to sizzle
flash of yellow flight
a goldfinch lands on bird bath
the first visitor

fly lands on my face
once is not enough twice now
annoys me greatly
she swiftly flies off
landing on the tv set
where is my swatter
CRIMSON ISLAND
guavaberry punch
a fly lands on straw’s rum drop
warm breezes buzzing

A bird, lands on a branch of a tree
Together they dance with joy and love
The bird says goodbye, then flies away
The branch waves her off.

She has been appearing since my son died
lands on that branch to remind me
God sent me His sparrow
He has not forsaken me
Love goes beyond the veil
Delight...
First flight
From nest
Tries best
Hits tree
Dear me!
Bent beak
Loud squeak
Throbbin

dry compassionate
another, empty bird sings

The treasure of moment for some.
A tweety bird suit on the one.
The cat caught in gaff.
She’s caged in my laugh.
My sis in the pool lands on tum.
They say when a dragonfly lands on you
you’ll be blessed with good luck…and prosperity…
Which is why I smile whenever that happens…
for who am I do disagree…
He’s agile and spry
Cat always lands on his feet
Springing and jumping
A natural acrobat
Darting and dashing
Amazing me with his feats
Never practicing either
nugatory coin tossed,
up in the air —
perpetrator hoping for
purgatory.
hell lands on his head.

nugatory - having no value
fly lands on my notebook
is this a hello?
does he want his own missive?
I can see his tiny wings
and his twitching face
I continue to write
he flies off, satisfied
It flutters to the piano
As you enter the room
Lands on the ivory
And plays your sweet. slow melody

Middle of winter
When the snow falls frequently
Earth opens its arms lovingly
Snow lands on the ground
Leaving cloth like covering
Over the smooth flowing bed

one month after june
an eagle lands on the moon
stars and stripes festoon
was sunday late afternoon
neil the buzz and mankind swoon

Hawk lands on friendship branch,
Betwixt two oaks, embracing hands.
Its breach cannot provoke an avalanche.
Sturdy and tight, their friendship stands.

Wet and rainy day
A napping dog on his back
kicks his legs
His yawn has wings
I nestle into my bed
Wet dog jumps on board
lands on my side
rolling now
one hundred pounds of wet dog
dandy butterfly
lands on a bunch of flowers~
a lip locked ballet

If I lost one of my dear one
And the next day, a little bird
Lands on my window sill
And looks me right in the eye
And says, “ I am back”
Guess, I would believe him or her
I would be stuck with a bird.
Ladybugs bring luck, that's what they all say,
If you catch one before it flies away.
They're very pretty to see.
If it lands on you or me
Then it's said we'll have good luck the whole day.
Whomp…another clump of ice cycles, lands on the patio.
It’s good to see brother sun; he is tired of the cold.
His fiery temper quickly melts away, old Jack Frosts icy rage.
Punxsutawney Phil
sees his shadow in February
and says six more weeks of winter.
That same day the first moth
of spring lands on my storm door
and says, “Wrong, Phil. I’m here.”

Barn owl lands on the soft grass
With a giant whump
Scaring away mice and chipmunks
They scatter in many directions
A garter snake was not as lucky
He gets carried off in giant talons
