Impromptu
week
end
my
week
end
differs
from yours

today is
wednesday
for you
but
for me
today is
saturday

my world
tipsy topsy
is based
on military
time
i kowtow
but will never

bow
spelled
the same as
bow
wow
fetch me
some arrows...

Thus Spake the Forsaken Snowman
Inside out this world I know:
It’s a world upside down—so.
Am I upside down?
Give me partner my own
Let them, and I will kowtow	.

Silent Loving
No words tonight
Let your touch ignite my appetite
Sprint me heights with licks and thirsty bites
To rewrite my pride to kowtow to your might
Gift me your pleasures
Bind me in your desires
I’m begging for your wands, I’m begging for your wrongs, I’m begging to be your slave in the armory of your lust
Please babe; no words tonight....

Impromptu
i need
to come
to get her
so we
together
can go
to her
shrine

i tried
to find
a perfect
place
to place
perfection
say grace
and pray

she is
the altar
no need
to alter
shape
to praise
true
grace

she stands
i bow
kowtow
she now
speaks
of how
to keep
her

her feet
i know
her toes
so well
her nails
i know
to polish
yellow...

a tip of the hat
a polite nod
a hail caesar
a handshake
a slouch
a tugging of the forelock
a proposing of a toast
a salutation sandwich
a salaam
a bow
a cheek-to-cheek contact
a kiss on the bugle
a kowtow
a wave
a voicemail
a whatsapp
a geachte heer followed by a comma
a prayer

it's all very gracious and well mannered
but for god's sake get the swatter...

Society
When I try to blend in
They tell me to preserve my identity
Don’t try too hard; don’t be a wannabe

If I be myself, I stick out like a weed
Or am labeled a rebel

Who makes the rules and boundaries
Don’t see anybody with a blinding halo

Your guardians and nuances befuddle me
And I cannot kowtow to thee
You’re a conundrum to me, society

Ah, my brother is finally sleeping
Through my head mischievous thoughts are creeping
It’s my time to shine now
     To him I won’t kowtow
All of the attention I’ll be keeping

I’ll make the best use of this special time
Beg for more after each nursery rhyme
I’ll play with his best toys
Till he makes the first noise
Because then I’ll just be admired part time

Respect Amidst Diversity - the Hexsonnetta
We each define ourselves
by choice of words we speak,
the things we do, or seek,
within our minds they delve.
We cannot say some elves
have tricked our minds when weak.

We can’t presume to know
so practice some restraint,
or make faux pas then faint.
To you my friends, I show
I care but don’t kowtow,
please know I’m not a saint.

Diverse, we still expect
some semblance of respect.
