Keep kind keepsake

Singapore
a small locket
glows in the dust~
faint pulse
under its clasp,
the memory inside
trying to breathe again
warmth of holding hands on trips evanesced
sunlight still bounces off of
those keepsake fridge magnets

Kee my heart with you
To ease your aching
passion
I shan't take away
In this life lost dead body
See, there is no use of
beat.
That freedom is a fine goddess
Is a keepsake to which we Americans are wise.
Her toga conceals timeless wounds
That once perhaps were lies.
I cherish this doggie wrap
That hugged you, me at night,
A keepsake of warm adventures;
Piled with my own jacket--
I cherish this doggie wrap
a curled snapshot
shivers in the drawer~
its blank center
softly glowing,
as if the moment
it once captured
were trying
to return
smiling
is instinctive
now
though rare
it blossoms
on bright days
and I'll hold it
keepsake
in my mind
till night
till quiet
till again.
a little patchy
this treasure worth more than gold
a keepsake for you
the exuberance is back
my heart is pounding again

One hundred first dates,
seventy five second dates,
fifty retakes,
twenty five out takes,
all to equal,
one mistake,
then,
one forever keepsake.
A Bible, spine b r o k e n and pages worn
stirs memories of Mama;
her treasure my keepsake.

She stepped into the beautiful spring day
Wearing the brooch her grandma
gave her, a butterfly ~

His work tools
In a box
My keepsake
The story
He told me
Days gone past
I relate
Even words
Unspoken

As I paint a keepsake rock with my brush-style permanent markers,
I think of how the marks soon enough wash away off of my skin,
Just as his beautiful love for me was not permanent.
Scars from the past I keep for the sake of
Awareness, affirming I'm
Stronger and wiser now

Incessantly my time grows old
Repeatedly it turns to gold
With every breath I sweetly take
The hourglass of life's keepsake
Becomes a colander of grace

Clear as pools of water
Looking into the eyes
Of a new born child
Wonderment of what title
Suites firm
Doctor
Law maker
Chief of staff
Blank slate
Treasure to be had
Keepsake nomad
Sue opens her late grandma’s trinket box
filled with pretty rings and beads
Which item should she choose?

celadon ribbon from childhood days
unfolds its quiet memory,
tender thread of mid-autumn
morning light resting soft
against your soft palm,
venerable,
soft whispers
always
yours
ebony chalk sketched her soft silhouette,
old keepsakes reveal heartache-
a broken easel mourns...

Crystal shells glimmer
Porcelain as dawn,
Varnished by romance.
Like opal baubles.
He knits them offshore—
As passion’s keepsake.

Kindled love, promises -
keepsake blue in her dress,
kindest heart in his chest.
Kapoks sway in soft breeze.
Kindred souls wed beneath.
Knowing joy, lives unite,
kissed lips seal - man and wife!
For lack of a keepsake
One inked line, one hair
Time-stepping, in reverse
Strange, and least adverse
Ask of this to send me back
Her person, my wraith.
Still a youth, but more luscious!
Shy-eyed, but lustrous!
Feather
autumn gold dust
bound under old papers
I never threw your things away
still here
