Your name lies somewhere,
Between unread junk mail,
ruined tissues and
Discarded receipts....

My house number was 1233 That's how junk mail found me. So, I changed it to 1234, Now the junk mail goes next door.

Junk Mail
Another piece of junk mail came today,
Trying to get into my wallet,
Old man tree died,
Because someone wants to get rich.

They said we were becoming,
A paperless society,
So smart and digital,
Tell that to the tree....

No Mail Today
I check my mail box everyday
To see what I can see
But when I check my mailbox
There's nothing there for me
Oh, I get bills and junk mail
And readers digest too
But when I check my mailbox
There's nothing there from you
If I could get one letter
For my very self
I'd frame that little sucker
And place it on the shelf...

Why do you send me your useless junk mail? Any attempt to get to know me will fail. If you were a dog, I would cut off your tail. I don't want you to stay. Will you please abscond? Just keep your distance from far beyond. How can I forget you? I don't know your face. I have never met you in the first place

Summed Up
i've been
through
the mail

almost
tearing
it up as

if it were
junk mail
but summoned

to report for
jurie duty
and i had

to laugh be
cause my
wife was

also asked
to be before
the court but

she isn't
a citizen
but she

drives
allowing
her to decide

yes my
husband
is a drunk

give
him
a

dui...

Once again...I open up my mailbox...and peek inside.

In the mailbox, I look with hopeful expectation
By the possibility of a greeting or a salutation....
With the realization and disappointing frustration
Of the discovery, there are only bills,... junk mail,..and annoying solicitations!!...

Hailstones on the mat
A feral Tom cat lingers
Doors that never shut

As hailstones strafe junk mail and mat
Where feral is the alley cat
On one hinge hangs
The door that bangs
And he ain’t going out in that

The feral cat whilst oftentimes homeless, is, it seems, at no time gormless

Love Ain'T Junk Mail
I gave it to you freely
It didn't cost a lot.
But I considered it priceless
and to me it meant a lot.
I could not wrap it up in expensive paper
Or Decorate it with a silk bow ,
Words cannot describe it.
I have seen it captured in an art work
And heard it mentioned in many songs.
But the gift was unrequited
Returned to sender marked junk mail
But I'm going to keep it
And store it in my heart
Then give it to another
As I don’t count my love as just junk mail....

Trophies
there are stealth
sound waves which whisper
"all efforts are in vain"

misinterpreted parts
of a sore whole
are only vaguely seen

just a shape shifting action
figure fighting empty causes
in essence fighting self

determination
runs a treadmill to some
goal born in a caste

finding hope
is wedding a spouse
for an indefinite amount of time

reach for love
wave off hate
grope through ambivalence

take the junk mail survey
find a voice
minus hands, try to count...

Email Lament
Once again my box is empty
when I know there should be plenty.
No sweet missive from my wife,
nor note from bro of current strife,
no messages from my many friends
not even junk mail, no xxx-sends.
My son, he does not write of dance,
it was so barren, no second glance
was needed to reveal that blank slate,
denies me my normal reading state.
My boss, he did not rant and rave
in email order, my job to save!!
No, it's quiet, no emails still. . .
Perhaps I should pay that server bill!...
