Premium Member A Jib a Jab and a Jibber Jabber Jee
A jib a jab and a jibber jabber jee
Dancing on down to town called want-a-be.
I watched them go
One walked so slow
A jig, a jab, a jibber jabber, and me!...

The Anchor's Gone
Clear the decks
and set the helm

A storm approaches,
hatches closed

Drop the main
and raise the jib

The anchor’s gone
—our fate to sail

(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2020)...

Erase Me
Severed from the cut of your jib
Alone my aching heart's
Vitality left on a baited breeze
Erasing what was left of me

Memories oh sweet sweet memories
Erase this daunting pain

Plucked from a sacred truth
Left to soar in a clouded blur
Erase this scary dream
Alone my aching heart
Sleeps
Erase these fateful dreams...

The Cut of Her Jib
I do like the cut of her jib
She answers smartly to the wheel
In strong wind she is a flyer.
She kicks up the waves this flyer
As past the boards they go and jib
It’s my trick to be at the wheel
I stands me watch this night at wheel
Now sure she’s controlled this flyer
Wind’s strong in the leech of the jib
Sails edges are full at the jib
It gives me hard time at the wheel
In cloudless night she’s a flyer...

Anchors Away
Hoist the sail
Let go the jib and mizenmast
Anchors away
It is to far off lands
We go, we seek

Let the sun shine
Upon the vessels deck
Steering forward
As dolphins race
Spraying salt upon our brow

There is a land
Many spoke of
Where trees and shore
Kiss the naked sky
Make haste, make haste

Let winds be strong
Behind our colorful sails
Speeding us upon waves
Toward the charted
Well anticipated shores...

Premium Member The Eye Doctor Said I Should Take Up Boxing
Ocular hypertension and
A couple of jabs here

I read the letters on the chart and
Threw in the towel

But she was adamant
The connotations

Pay-per-view Las Vegas
Ears bitten

Jubba-jubba-jib-jab and
A bathroom meteorologist

I got the receptionist
In a headlock

I didn't kill Davey Moore
But I made another appointment and

Promised her the next time I was in
I would be the heavyweight champion of the world

Premium Member Tempest Deep
I ride the waves of innocence
on the ocean of The Now.
From the depths of dank
a demon stalks my bow.

On deck afraid, alone I stood
quelling fear the best I could.
Furled the jib and reefed the main
what you do when the wind's insane.
Then rising atop a stormy swell
the giant beast straight from hell.

Peering so deep in its deathly eyes
I could hear a thousand sailors' cries.
The chilling truth that I could see
was the evil thing in fact was me....

Sanmati Jain a Source, Part Vi
Sanmati, my guide, though is callow
Abnormal not in knowledge, not a bozo.
Negotiates well joy broad or narrow;
Merry as a lamb, sharp as an arrow –
Agile as a gymnast, as sweet as a cello.
Time and again found, never let her gizmo,
Ignoring angry love or any strict credo
Jib her down to cry and sit quietly in shadow.
Almighty will design her future like dido
Illuminating the world with skills and less ego.
Never be dull or extra-ordinary – no one follow....
