Anchors Away

Hoist the sail Let go the jib and mizenmast Anchors away It is to far off lands We go, we seek Let the sun shine Upon the vessels deck Steering forward As dolphins race Spraying salt upon our brow There is a land Many spoke of Where trees and shore Kiss the naked sky Make haste, make haste Let winds be strong Behind our colorful sails Speeding us upon waves Toward the charted Well anticipated shores
