Is This February
A February month is unseen standing;
Hearts stop to an end
The mirror of an invigorated blot....

Physical Death
Physical Death

When I will feel God's wonderful breath,
Did raise me up from my lower depth;
While I waited;
Always invigorated;
Lifted me up to heaven from physical death.

Premium Member Rosy Day Running
Exhilaration!
Feet pounding windswept pavements
people thrilled to run.
Red butterflies in tandem-
Invigorated heartbeats.

Day to satin night
on every viable route
energetic youth!
Pretty, fleeting scenery
like rosy days going by....

Spring Showers
I loved a walk in the rain
Early one morning
When no one was about
I felt refreshed
Invigorated
Ready for the day ahead

And I loved a walk in the rain
Late that same night
No one was around
I felt relaxed
Unwound
Ready for a restful night

South of Eden
Divine so green and beautiful
Your beauty invigorated my soul
One look at you and I saw heaven
You're a green field south of Eden

So be strong amidst this storm
Let your fertile ground make the flowers bloom
What awaits you is the rising sun
With glittering rays that does not shun

A Guy's Excuse For Missing a Date
A guy to his girlfriend on phone-

"I love you,you do too,
But now I also love someone else.
She doesn't fritter my money, shout, cry like you,
She's dark,beautiful,an enchantress.

She invigorated my spirits,mesmerized me,
I didn't even realize when the sun sunk.
We'll postpone our date of tonight,I can't drive now,
'Cause baby,I'm drunk!"...

Our Song
hand in hand
we walk through
the verdancy
of our love
invigorated by
our close
environment
breathing it in
with reverent awe
we step to the
synchronized
beating of our hearts
birds in the distance
are singing our song
with grasshopper
metronomes and
toads laying the bassline
we stop to dance
to the private symphony
in celebration of
our romantic sunrise...

Divine
Tales of white and green
With black tinge in between
Edifices in quadrangle
Surrounding a green garden

And her name was Divine,
She was my cradle for many years
She was gorgeous, fair and fine
Home of bitter-sweet memories

Oh! Divine, so beautiful
Your beauty invigorated my soul
It is hurtful to say goodbye
But I must leave you after all

Premium Member Good Morning
Birds are chirping above the frost covered grass
Skies are bright blue as the sun spreads a smile
The air may be cold, but it is fresh to breathe
Everything is clear and all around it is lively
As I walk along the empty, frozen dirt path,
The stillness of the beauty continues to shine
I am invigorated by every step with what I see
I return to say good morning!

Time Taken
Majestic are the silhouetted trees
Against an evening sky of midnight blue
Invigorated by the gentle breeze
I watch the moon engaged in peek-a-boo.
And with the poet choose to 'stand and stare';*
A fleeting moment free from worldly care.

* W.H.Davies' poem 'leisure' : 'What is this life if full of care
We have no time to stand and stare'...

Premium Member Sometimes I Feel
sometimes i feel depressed in my loneliness
other times i’m refreshed and invigorated

there is a life inside of me, its stimulus
i can’t control. though i wait it out and breathe

perhaps it’s a shadow that shows up time and time
again. it’s ugly haunt, a tortuous neck that lurks

yet i look upward...the Spirit throws a cloak around
my shoulders, pats my hair and loves me through it

ON FRIENDSHIP

In its gratitude of friendship, I hope there’s always laughter,
The sharing of delightful feelings.
In the scheme of little things the heart finds its love being invigorated
The heart had always hidden possessions,
In its secret ambience, and its quiet status love is sealed;
(not always)
My thoughts,
My hopes,
My dreams,
My pleasures,
Where do they go and will they stay?
When my heart breaks truth is revealed....

SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
ABOUNDS WITHIN US
A POWERFUL FLAME
BURNING BRIGHT
ABOVE THE HORIZON
ENCOMPASSING
DELICATE FISSURES BREAK
FROM THE WEIGHT
OF THIS DESIRE
BARE, FREE OF FORM
THERE IS POETRY IN US
THE WAY LIGHT DANCES
IN YOUR EYES
SHADOWS OF BRILLIANCE
BEYOND COMPREHENSION
YOU ABIDE WITHIN ME
WARM AND SECURE
LIKE A SUMMER'S DAY
MY LUST FOR LIFE
INVIGORATED
WITH YOUR EVERY BREATH
I FADE INTO YOU
DEEP AND SUBLIME
FURROWED IN YOUR DEPTH....

Adagio of Rain
A soft rain taps,
On the surface of the leaves.
Soothing the forest to slumber,
From the cantata of rainfall.

Thunder accompanies the mood,
Relaxed winds caress the mist,
As the tapping is invigorated.

Harmonious drips resonate,
Trickling the movement’s ambiance.
With a balanced aria of sprinkles and pats.

The lightening flickers...sending,
The heavy splatter into a chorale
Of peaceful...gentle showers.
Fading the oratorio into a fresh finale....

Inhaling the Sea
Inward I look, searching
Never quite able to touch what I seek.
Hearing a voice in the distance
Alight with fresh passion I resume hunting;
Longing to possess
Invigorated by mere sight alone
Nothing is comparable to
Ghosts, and the spirit of yesterday.

There, I said it!
Hearing my own voice speak
Excruciating, the sound of your name.

So many years ago, I lost you in battle.
Everywhere, in every life, I suffer
As I long to hold you, now and evermore.
