Time Taken

Majestic are the silhouetted trees
Against an evening sky of midnight blue
Invigorated by the gentle breeze
I watch the moon engaged in peek-a-boo.
And with the poet choose to 'stand and stare';*
A fleeting moment free from worldly care.

* W.H.Davies' poem 'leisure' : 'What is this life if full of care
We have no time to stand and stare'

Thanks for sharing this. Meanwhile, by God's grace, I greet you with the peace and joy from the Lord toward a prosperous New Year 2023 along this present: "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23 of the King James Bible). God bless you.
