Adagio of Rain
A soft rain taps,
On the surface of the leaves.
Soothing the forest to slumber,
From the cantata of rainfall.
Thunder accompanies the mood,
Relaxed winds caress the mist,
As the tapping is invigorated.
Harmonious drips resonate,
Trickling the movement’s ambiance.
With a balanced aria of sprinkles and pats.
The lightening flickers...sending,
The heavy splatter into a chorale
Of peaceful...gentle showers.
Fading the oratorio into a fresh finale.
