Sometimes I Feel
sometimes i feel depressed in my loneliness
other times i’m refreshed and invigorated
there is a life inside of me, its stimulus
i can’t control. though i wait it out and breathe
perhaps it’s a shadow that shows up time and time
again. it’s ugly haunt, a tortuous neck that lurks
yet i look upward...the Spirit throws a cloak around
my shoulders, pats my hair and loves me through it
