still hangs on the bathroom rack
missing your strong hands
now dry as an old stamp pad
it no longer weeps your loss

Premium Member What Am I

What can go up a chimney down, but not down a chimney up?
This riddle I initially found to be difficult and tough,
but inevitably I ultimately realized the answer,
and the answer in this case is an umbrella.

Premium Member The Drinking Game

Initially, it seems a-plenty...
Alas, the game comes down to this:
        the glass half-full is shortly empty;
the ales imbibed just turn to piss.

Premium Member Love Is Not Sex

SEX OVER LOVE
LOVE OVER SEX
IT’S BETTER WHEN
LOVE IS ON TOP

SEX IS A FINE REASON
FOR INITIALLY GETTING TOGETHER
AND FOR RECALLING YOUR FIRST ENCOUNTER
ON ANNIVERSARIES

IT’S ALSO NOT BAD
FOR SELF-SATISFACTION
YOU CAN LOVE SEX
BUT DON'T THEM CONFUSE

Premium Member Decorated Toilet Paper

Toilet paper with teddy bears!
Bought by rich women with other wares.
Sold initially at world's fairs.
Amid joyous laughter in the airs.
Some people looked with ridiculous stares.
Such nonsense found at world's fairs!
Soon they will be coloring apples and pears
Form: Monorhyme

I Stare

.

  In a fervent yes ardent
             display
             i gaze

 When she looks back at
                me
       my intact union
            weakens

       Initially i budge

afterwards vision returns

    At last i recoup my

            senses

Yesterday and Tomorrow.

Thoughts of paradise
Swiftly diminish
Into melancholy memories…

Each gripping steadfastly
Romantic eyes of then and someday
Burnishing our hushed moments of fantasy…

Letting us elude our todays
Which initially, divine in desire
Converts into yearning soon enough…

We -Rm

We drive and drive
Thirsty to thrive
Hungry for the things' no longer alive

We smile a fake smile
Knowing we are wasting miles
To simply discover our daily denial

We breathe, we breathe
Initially to pause racing thoughts
Then to hope our felicity will never leave
Form: Rhyme

Befriended

Befriended me- that's what you did,
Eternal friendship wasn't real.
Fake friend who has made me feel a fool,
Remembering words I thought were true.
Initially friends to..
Enemies.
Nothing is what we have now,
Dread to see you again.
End to bad and sad...
Death to what we had !

Perfect

Paradise Island

May initially seem

Without a certain other Soul

To share it's plentitude and bounty with

Must be be like the final tree in a wood
being felled

Enquiring to themselves I wonder if
anybody else heard that

And is coming to my rescue

Miss Gossip

Miss Gossip
walks down the street
as everybody listens to the beat
of her fancy feet.

Miss Gossip
whistles an infectious tune
which even entangles June
who initially thought she was immune.

Miss Gossip
evidently has a big family
that frequently falls victim to the melody
of its own tragedy.

Misunderstanding

Initially seems like the distance of tip of the needle ,
gradually drawing miles in the middle .
     Leading to unnecessary battle ,
solving it can only settle .
   The two become quiet ,
one the eyes clues there's a fight.
  Breaking close relations ,
 all over the nations .

Too Much Quiet

Being from the city,
Too much quiet makes me cringe.
What sirens do for others,
Silence makes my brain unhinge.

I’ll take it in small doses -
It’s initially a balm -
But over time, it does
The opposite of bringing calm.

The birdsong helps and music, too,
Yet it’s not quite enough.
For sensory survival,
I prefer the noisy stuff.
