your monogrammed towel still hangs on the bathroom rack missing your strong hands now dry as an old stamp pad it no longer weeps your loss

Congrats! Susan, a fine and wonderful tanka.. glad Nate, enjoyed your poem. it was a super shock to see he only chose 3 winners... I thought I told him the last time his actions reflect on me. But, oh well. It was very rude to see he is very selffish.. I don't see why he only picked 3 poems. I can't win when we fight or debate over these kind of situations. However a little birdy told me he should be more supportive over us poets. He's right I knew he would love my entry~ "edge walker" That poem is his favorite. :-)... once again.. a super congrats.. always... pd

much like many other stupid forms i hate the tanka and yet you have written a good poem using this form. i like the concept of it. transfer the pain of loss into towel and using its inderference to try to get over the loss. its very concsise i wouldnt change a word of it. grats on your win
