Premium Member Siesta Key Florida is my Pick
Siesta Key Florida is a favorite endeavor.
where we have taken our family vacations forever
It is inexpensive and fun; we used to go there in inclement weather.
Pure white quartz beaches are never hot on your feet.
Water activities and family-friendly concessions are sweet.
Playground there for children cannot be beat....

Premium Member What Makes Children Happy
Some things young children most enjoy
are inexpensive; some are free.
To girls, give baby dolls; to boys,
dump trucks and bouncy balls. They’ll be
so pleased. They also like to wade
in creeks, play hide-and-seek and tag,
watch Loony Tunes, eat cookies made
by Mom, and watch a pup's tail wag.

This Or That
Your intention to work
Or you are in, tension to work?

Your inactive position
Or you are in, active position?

Your inapplicable action
Or you are in, applicable action?

Your insincere effort
Or you are in, sincere effort?

Your insight of things
Or you are in, sight of things?

Your inexpensive living
Or you are in, expensive living?...

A Well-Kept Secret
There's a quick remedy for those neglected smiles,
even your dentist won't tell you that...
it's still a well-kept secret;
grandma whispered it to mother,
and mother to daughter,
but not father to son? Isn't it hypocritical, boys?
All women must be kissed by impatient men,
and what's more attractive than
teeth whitened by inexpensive baking soda, guys?
It's time you made yours whiter than Paul's!...

Premium Member Will Do Chores
I can do this, I can do that
I can do anything, splicketty-splat.

I'm quite the expert, and certainly quick
Excellent service here, licketty-click.

Your toaster won't roast'er?
	Your car needs repair?
I'll fix your teepee,
	your sofa and chair
I'll cure your doggy
	of fleas, lice, and pox
I'll wash your diapers,
	your windows, your socks.

I'm inexpensive, and fast as a wink
Available any time, blinkity-blink....

Premium Member My Favorite Alley
I always expect to hear singing from the balconies
there is only the chatter of other enthusiastic diners
in the thin alley where we consume outside in summer
Scars, my favorite restaurant with a welcoming owner

we are greeted with plates of warm steaming appetizers
crisp table cloths are white linen, the silverware heavy
It is not inexpensive, but we would gladly pay more
for the ambiance, delicious food and this gorgeous alley....

Premium Member Tremendous Versus Pretensious
The state fair’s introduction of the speaker was stupendous.
Optimistic crowd thought expensive speech would be momentous.
He could have been fantastic, but he was way too pretentious.
It was soon clear that he was quite solidly self- portentous.

Cheap speaker, more heartfelt was the immediate consensus.
Easy words were soul-rendering, stupendous and momentous.
The pretentious, self-serving speaker, a sorry proventous.
Inexpensive one invited back as was clearly tremendous....

An Inexpensive Lesson
While bereft of funds I set about
to woo a lass. I had no doubt,
possessed of charm, I could succeed;
kind words and flowers what I'd need.

She's fair of face and warm hearted,
or so it seemed until I'd started
to ply with words and selected posies.
Her interest? Feigned. 'Twas never rosy.

As i soon learned I had mis-thought
inamorata mine. Perhaps she ought
to look behind the cost of gift.
What value could those ardor bereft
e'er place on words, on those who craft?...
