When he passed, she was inconsolable and miserable
Until she found a flower on his piano

The ‘Wild Rose’ Drifts away with the morning,
tempest howls in discrimination
clouds inconsolable lament,
the creek no longer arid
replenish the river.
There ‘Wild Rose’ Fearful
taut disjointed;
on her way
to the
sea!

Rsa the Return
The one who wanted to stay
is now chided by Brother
as the one who got away
followed his Wife to England in 60
and revisited in 79
absence so dearly noted
replete the years
saint not sinner
who rode the years
not persecuting by choice
because missing South Africa is inconsolable...

in an instant
you were gone
without warning
or fanfare
you left me
to make peace
with the loss of you
a solo in the night
inconsolable
in a relentless dance
of melancholy

The Storm
A chance to alter the voices.

To transcend into the wilderness.

Swirling in an inconsolable storm.

Another night filled with curiosity.

I can thank the storm for its poison.

For I am numb to the trees that try to guilt me.

Treading a fog that shields me.

From the ravenous silence....

A Leonine Moment
A Leonine Moment

Yellow lion teeth like petals of love
I picked in the green savannah grass,
it had just stopped raining and pearls,
as glass bead around a child´s neck,
glinted in the sun that had been hiding
behind rain pregnant clouds, thunder
and lightening; far away I heard
a lion roar, inconsolable was its loss....

Self-Confined
A conquered posture,
from a life that took,
inconsolable heartbreak,
like a teardrop book,

a fragile waste,
unable to cope,
the lines are written,
without any hope,

my veins are torn,
inside my sleeve,
I spill my blood,
as you begin to leave,

I never mattered,
I’m left behind,
I’m torn apart,
so self-confined.

Grieving
Grieving

I am inconsolable
I need answers
I hear music
I see rain
I want peace
I am grieving

I pretend happiness
I feel grief
I touch flowers
I worry about the afterlife
I cry out in loneliness
I am grieving

I try to help others
I long to find hope
I watch the sunset
I smile at your name
I cry for your loss
I am grieving...

An angel,

in his heavenly tranquility, observing the lamentations of an inconsolable soul because of its

upcoming incarceration within the walls of mortal flesh, turned towards it and calmly said:

" Be patient dear soul for manifold your rewards will be for such a sacrifice !"

Inconsolable
My friend, my enemy,
the conductor of my strength,
the Judas of my weakness
how you tempt me
with narcoleptic rages

I weep under the guise
of regeneration
slipping through minutes,
through hours

unconsolably weary,
drawing deeper inside the empty,
a wounded solitaire

I surrender the fight
one nap at a time

I'm tired
so very tired......

The Promise Within
My old, inconsolable past.

Until all my worries toppled.

And then there was nothing in the way of the vastness.

For a while, I felt guilty for not recognizing my abilities-

Which I was guarding.

Until they could no longer be invoked.

And now my capacity is permanently damaged.

And now there is no way to recover that promise within....

Premedicated
This must be an accident,
have I set a precedent?
is there something that
Monday's not telling me?

It's six of the clock plus three
plus me
and far too light in the day
I may even float off and away
to where yonder lies.

Or is this a parable of the
traveller
inconsolable on
Monday?

Whatever
it's never good news
to
the one who's
listening....

97
In 1997,

No one knew anything.

My parents didn’t know what to do with an inconsolable baby.

Until 2012, no one knew.

Until the diagnosis, no one knew.

The delays were “nothing serious,” they lied.

I would grow up in a new millennium.

Struggles unknown to anyone.

My parents were worried.

Since 1997.

A lot of kids have been born.

Since 1997....

Inconsolable Child
Her voicelessness always scared me.

As she could only cry for the longest time.

And I could tell that in that little mind-

She had some sort of pain that my softest whispers could never cure.

The doctors all said she was simply too attached.

But really, I felt I could never connect.

Even though we both tried.

But we were both so tired from crying....

Memories
In my innocent sleep.

That leaves me unresolved.

Did I lose some sort of promise?

Some sort of sparkling and bubbling.

Or was it all me babbling hopelessly.

Which memories did I say goodbye to?

While I am no longer inconsolable.

I am having inconsistent memories.

Moments that become clear at the strangest times.

During a kind and silent moment....

Is There a Doctor For the Soul
there is no cure
for this melodrama
there is blood on my fingers
where i touched your wounds,
you said we all have them
and some are well-hidden
some follow us with hound-dog eyes
inconsolable and lonely for his master,

the spirit of the wind
shakes the dream catcher
halfway to paradise

the parchment of this poem,
an unspoken sin
that catches fire,
our ashes rising,
sing....

Family
I am still tethered to my family.

My spirit is inconsolable.

I left my powers at home.

So I tremble in my sleep.

Each day turns less urgent.

But I still wonder if my family just…

Tumbled happily away from me.

I fear the glass that separates us cannot be touched-

Or it will turn to brick.

Which is how I feel when the phones disconnect.

A week is a week is a week…...

Premium Member The Love Monster
Mommy! Daddy! Mommy! Daddy!
The nightmare was beginning.
Shelly was inconsolable.
There was a monster in her closet.

Mommy was ready this time.
She opened the closet and brought out the love monster
A pink stuffed monster holding a red heart.
“Here she is,” she said “She wants you.”

She put the love monster into Shelly’s arms.
The crying instantly stopped.
This was the end of the nightmare too....
