Inbound of Life
Came and the end
To corner west
And the death
Is only start
Of new east
Throughout
One narrow path of the death
for another inbound
Of life
Inward
Of cycle...

Premium Member Outbound Faeries Were Way Too Slow
The inbound faeries were landing too fast.
They came in droves from first to last.
They landed on Dexter and Hobble and Go.
Our outbound faeries who were way too slow....

Uncharted
Let the moment continue
there’s no peace to make
no past to refight
or future at stake

Uncharted not lost
forever inbound
the instant repeating
—with memory refound

Premium Member Books Unread
Why is the middle where I put a book down?
My anticipation dies at that half-read interlude.
I lack the discipline that keeps me inbound.
A famous author's endings should be praised, and not eschewed....

Catching a Flame

Rainbow Blind
Whenever my emotions are gathered pain side down, a smattering

of silent, shallow, cobweb shadows wear me as woe’s

weighty gown atop clouds blind to rainbows where

naught is wrought but gloom’s sound,

tempo fraught, inbound.

Termination inbound on the day
Ruminating over the cause
Sudden pain caused by fellowship

Heartstrings hand-plucked, wrought with strife
You take a bow, adversity on your fingertip
Perfectionist performance, chimerical display....

What does a child know of placidity? Little heart stirs, quickened by inbound ducks; pier is warm, feet soaking up excitement. Grownups pine to be stirred, awash with peace.

Fire Call
Tones blare
Heart pounds
Prayers sent
Station bound

Turnouts on
Nomax too
Helmet, gloves
And rubber boots

18-15
That is me
Sirens sing
Engine gleams

Airpack on
Arrive on scene
Cars on fire
Patients scream

Hoses pulled
Scene assessed
Flames put out
Jaws of life spread

Patient care
EMS on scene
Life-flight inbound
Punctured spleen

Patient gone
Hospital bound
Head back home
Til next time around

Premium Member Days of Spring
The starkness of winter is left behind
In it's wake comes inbound spring
 every step with joyful delight
She dressed herself with greenery
Putting on her finest dress
As her beauty is heightened the
Flowers poke their heads
 laughing, dancing with delight
Colors of floral explosion appear
as her sweet scented perfume fills the air.
Birds are returning to her warmth
as she dances with the wind
The winter blues have begun to lift
Spring waltzes in on the incoming breeze....

Pitter Patter
Pitter patter
What’s that sound?
The sound of little feet
An angel is soon inbound

Someone little cherub
Is getting a wonderful surprise
They will meet their new auntie
The first day they open their eyes

Tears of joy
Shared the good and precious news
Babies are such a blessing
No matter if they will be wearing pinks or blues

Congratulations Auntie Heather
This gift from above will change life as you know
Counting ten little perfect fingers
And ten little perfect toes...

Apathy Inbound
Just because you came equipped with angel eyes
doesn't mean you have the wings to fly!
You have invisible shackles from down under holding you fastened, keeping you grounded!
Love hurts, it keeps you blind for a time
Wake when the cake wears off
This soul awaits retribution
Why does Karma beckon this consciousness wrapped in flesh?
does this ever end?
as a twenty year old all I saw was red
Since then' two decades of lost sight wandering through a cloud of apathy..
Does it ever end....
