through a vale of tears
a rainbow appears
o'er the horizon
yesterdays imperfections-
look tomorrow awaits
Foolish people spend most of their lives barking about the imperfection of others than trying to compensate their own imperfections
The lesions of my imperfections
have allowed me
to see myself as one
accepting there is more to love
and heal. And become.
Contest
Blemishes
breaks and chipped paint
and other imperfections
suggest repairs disturbing
what is perfect already:
perfect imperfection~~
Imperfections. All that each
Can but emphasize
In its earthly guise.
Angelic world, which reflects
Young woman's beauty
Is this! Is yours! See?
Without thought my heart turns toward your voice…
You truly see all of me…
Your imperfections dear…
For Matt's contest
WEIRD LITTLE PIECES FIT TOGETHER PERFECTLY
TO MAKE MY IMPERFECTIONS JUST FOR ME
CREATED UNIQUE MADE TO ONLY FIT ME
IMPERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL GEM IS ME
Looking through love's lens, I see beauty in your imperfections.

My soul of marbled stone,
my body, flesh and bone.
My God, my great sculptor -
will chisel my dead soul,
and one day make me whole.

You
Without thought my heart turns toward your voice…
You truly see all of me…
My imperfections dear…
If we be space within which flows time,
drumming a beat sounding love’s chime,
where then is the fun, if no surprises stun
and there are no imperfections to be undone?
If only if God is perfection,
we have among us men
only what it's imperfect perfections ...
and what are not wonderful wonders,
because all wonder belongs to the Creator!
Fright In love is vain,
I dreaded to be a memory.
My Fall was tranquil, her Smile
impeccable, it rendered me poignant.
Too stoned to worship her imperfections
a statue I became.
Staring at the blue
imperfections in my eyes
like static pops
swirls and tweeks
wisp creatures contour my eyeballs
like another universe unveiled
between the what is and what ifs
I've found happiness and priceless joys
Like gravity's pull
I navigate towards odds
Not faultlessness but perfect imperfections
Not spotlessness but a design in every dot and curve
Bless them all, I love them dearly
With all of their imperfections
They are a reflection of myself -
Ironic genetic selections

small imperfections
ripples scarring view
shrug and move on
letting life flow renew
looking at feeble form
we see that it thinks
let blissful our touch be
as joy life moments links
To my dear friends
Who often mends
each other's,
Imperfections
Through criticism we reflect
Through laughter we forget
And through unspoken words
We keep, and say another's
Today I’m grateful for my little flaws and imperfections…
Oh yes…like most people…I have a few…
But when you look around…
you see so many of those imperfections
have their own beauty too.
Form
Mass
Drooping
Heaviness
Weeping bodies age
Stretched elongated wrinkled form
Distorted hound dog faces as Youth's beauty fades
Eventually we return to the ground as water evaporates to dust
In retrospect…
The woman most perfect
Would be a lady filled with
Many flaws and imperfections
Impurities and a few…
Insecurities
So together each
We could reach
Into God’s majesties and maturities
(L)earning to accept each other's imperfections
(O)vercoming obstacles together
(V)alue and respect each other's opinions
(E)njoy every moment together
Thank you Heidi for the second line
To have conceived you as mine
To have chosen a princess for a serf
To have made my imperfections whole in you
God must be a lover.
The eye spies imperfections
with wariness and care
the heart that owns the eye
sees only beauty there
Tides of electric air
adrift in flawless flesh
soul to soul, lips to lips
ensnared in sinful mesh
He said he likes my tattoos.
I said "Yes but darling can you kiss all my scars?"
The tattoos are beautiful but self-inflicted.
What about the wounds I never asked for?
Tiny imperfections,
pinpricked from years of abuse.
