I will never categorise any of my poetry,
under the category of "funny," 
well, maybe this once only,
since the poem title is "Funny Category". 
To do so would feel way too presumptuous of me.
One person's disdain could very well be,

There was a young girl from Bulgaria, 

She was so funny, that went into hysteria, 

After she heard a joke,
 
Laugh'd so hard, under an oak, 

And then peed, right there in the same area.

I cry hysterically
and scream at the sky.
"Come on, God! Do it! Just let me die!"
I fall to me knees
and start punching the ground.
Wow.. I'm pretty screwed all around.
All I ever wanted was a normal life.
Now my mother as to hide
my pocket knife...
I collapse on my bed and scream...
Why is God so mean?!?!
What did I do to deserve it all??

Redemption 
The dogs barked hysterically in the night
Not a normal warning of a dog trying to sneak in
Dog do not know charity unless thought by man 
to show sympathy.
Light came on people of faith crossed themselves 
something like a wave had passed through the village
it was the ghosts of soldiers who had fought
and killed many civilian, now seeking redemption.
Unforgiven forever marching trying to find a sanctuary...

Let the rhythm flow freely through out your feet.
Sway your body to each and every dramatic beat.
Glide, glide slowly and stay and pace.
Keep a slight sign of seriousness upon your face.
Dance.
Move, shack, pop now drop but remember to stop only when the music stops.
Look upon the crowd and remember what dancing is all about.

Crack a smile as they hysterically applaud you.
And now you know what type of feeling dance can give you.

The Date. 
Sat in a pub talking to a woman of no substance
other then she wore a skirt and had boobs.
Pub closed, I was allowed
to follow her home 
through dreary streets
fine rain and yellow street light.
I kissed her dry, bloodless lips
We parted.
Walking back to the seaman´s hotel
she stood by a bombed out church and had damp hair.
This it too absurd
again I was a place I didn´t  want to be.
Money changed hand 
and my loneliness laughed hysterically...

Oh what superficial facades we build
So featureless in this menagerie filled
Oppressing humanitarians and the like
Hysterically mocking honesty divine
Brutally molesting innocence in kind
Blindly we follow fools gold
Materials we tower and uphold
Savagely flouting righteousness athrust
Unappreciating sincerities must
And pouncing on words so true
What unhappiness we must imbue
Alas I slowly bid morals adieu
Shedding all values true 
Realising the world anew...

Don't give me a panic attack
The TV heads state
Global threats are so great
As part of the blitzing wolf pack


Author's note:  Global security is the key to "homeland" security.  The real problem with this idea is that it means addressing issues rather than making a small number of people very rich while carrying on hysterically.  Is this complicated?  I think not.  I intend to do the right thing and sleep well at night.  I hope you can do the same....
