Notes About The Poem

Peewee Herman

Saturday mornings were the best
How I loved to catch your show
Your high energy naughtiness
Your effervescence was contagious
Delighted me and left me in awe
Peeking my curiosity and
Capturing my imagination
So creative and quirky
Meticulously choreographed
Perky and hysterically funny
A surprise around every corner
I was way older than what
Anyone would call a big kid
But you made me fall in love
With the youth I never had

Love it..my youngest son , Patrick was nicknamed pee wee by his siblings because he was a skinny little kid when the movie came out

He blew my mind - if he was still on TV, I would make a point of watching him daily.

Oh, Line, maybe I have your age wrong. Peewee came along in the 80's , didn't he? But you say you were way older than what anyone would call a big kid. Now I have a feeling I am older than you!! I think Pee Wee came along when I was in my 20's, married and with kids. I remember enjoying some of what he did but I was never too crazy about him. Remember the Macarena dance he did? People DID forgive him and I bet he is still making appearances even today! GREAT tribute for him.

OK gloves off, mask off... whatever... I was born in 58... veil of mystery be gone !! I would watch PeeWee with a little girl I cared for - well, that was the official story anyway. His Macarena dance from his movie was... THE BEST !!
