Response To Ilene's Tush

Though Sampson was known for his hair
Delilah quite fancied him bare
She thought he'd look cute
Not quite so hirsute
And shaved him where no one would dare

Alas, when Mother Nature called
The whole world seemed to be appalled
With no hair to hide
Sampson's bouncing pride
His battering ram was blackballed

Singing Darkness

In hirsute adolescence
a narcissist climbs
the breast and becomes
a graveyard of moons.

Talking of marginality,
a hole in the chest
ejects a secret of peachy skin
when wind was selling sex.

Most corrupt was me
always telling truth about the
warm eggs of chaotic legs
who will not climb down the street.

A Real Tall Texan

Mister hirsute and strong
   just felt totally wrong

The comedian was funny
   underneath not-so-sunny

A financier, short and stout
   his bulging midriff stuck out

So, she risked it all
   on a Texan real tall

But she learned her lesson
   without any question

The taller the 'you-all'
   the farther he falls

B Rated X

if she were
a vampyre
my lack of
blood would
not get me up

from a grave
situation but
keep me cold
cadaverishly
feverishless

so i stake
my money
on the moon
when blooms
full and i find

my pursuit me
being hirsute and
her her time that i
may dine a wolf's
dinner eating and

drinking
her blood
instead of
her drunk
on mine

Sleepwalking Times

Sleepwalking in my birthday suit
My mother thought was rather cute
But as I aged my little flute
Was soon declared forbidden fruit

Sleepwalking on my chosen route
My teen physique left others mute
Some neighbours claimed they'd prosecute
But soon could see me more hirsute

Sleepwalking as an old galoot
I do not fear a bare salute
My grandson is a new recruit
And just like me, won't give a hoot!

Lady Godiva's Swimsuit

Lady Godiva searched for a swimsuit
Couldn't find one for reasonable loot
Why should 'Lady' have to pay
   She could swim nude anyway
Private parts covered ~ she was so hirsute

Hirsute

Hirsute's been my inclination,
beard, and mustache too,
I've never liked to shave my face
since I was twenty-two.

Call me vain, I love my visage,
even though I'm turning grey,
Hemingway had nothing on me,
even though he paved the way

to be a model for my kind,
though l can't be that kind of man,
yet I'll strive to look like him,
and emulate him when I can.

Adventurer, a big game hunter,
activities I don't embrace,
the closest that I'll get to Ernest
is the hair upon my face!

Only Kiss Can Tell a Flute

A sculpted form looking so cute,
Only when kissed flatters as flute.

To him that knows not to play how,
Far better may sound an owl's hoot.

Metaphors thrown in for a wow,
A meter force-fitted in foot;

Or be it a classical cow
Dressed dandy, shaggy and hirsute,

Or an ascetic wearing jute,
Know this well know it absolute--

If a man's musically mute,
How'd help even a finest lute?

So, should ye reap the finest fruit,
Go invest in its very root.
