Premium Member Pretending To Be
i walk in a hillbillies shoes
collecting old junk cars
to put as yard ornaments
infront of my double-wide trailer
my x-mas lights stay on all year long
along with the cheech and chong dingle balls
draped around my doorway...

Premium Member hillbillies dairy cow
Hillbillies got a dairy cow and trained it up right
It mooed and bellowed all through the first night
Drank some moonshine and did a crazy petootsie dance.
So silly and funny, the fireflies flitted and flew as if in a trance....

Premium Member Tricked By His Tomfoolery
His sophistry made sense to the hillbillies who were listening
They ran out and told it as if it was gospel
Because to them, it was
They had no idea he was a conman.
They thought he was an honest man,
but alas, they were tricked by his tomfoolery....

Premium Member Please Come See My Staircase
Her elegant art nouveau staircase was designed by Ede Magyar
We had never seen such a beautiful fixture in the town of McLar
We ran over right away to take pictures and ooh and awe over it.
Some hillbillies brought in mud, and the hostess had a huge fit....

Please pontificate a little louder
I can already tell what dullards you think we are the child said.
Pleased, the puffed up politician began barking even more loudly.
Louder! The child yelled. LOUDER!
His voice went us six octaves.
Obviously a non-reader, another child said
We hillbillies laughed....

Premium Member Where Is Piggy
Three wild frolicking hairy unkempt hillbillies
Jettisoning off their wonderful new pet
Doing banshee yells and hog calls
Happily playing with their newest mate
Where is Piggy? They asked Mom.
Until sundown they looked for him.
Pretty soon they smelled sweet sauce.
Beside themselves with grief, ate barbeque....

Premium Member cake and steak
The cake was sitting too close to the steak
The steak was done well, which was a mistake
The cake began melting, and the candles fell off
Worse yet, said grandma, your uncle gave it a cough

We had been digging around in the leavings by then
Scooping up frosting and pieces, my heart and my kin.
The prissy ones stopped, which left more for the rest of us.
We are Tennessee hillbillies who get around in a bus....

Up From the Sea Comes a Bubbling Crude
Do you remember the Beverly Hillbillies?
When Jed shot the ground,
Oil produced without a sound,
They capped that up quick,
They didn’t even damage the fish,

So tell me,
If a bunch of hillbillies,
Came together,
Could they stop a leak?
That seems to go on forever,

Black gold gushing in our waters,
Damage from below,
Ever getting worst,
And no one is taking control,
With all the technology,
And all the great minds,
We cannot figure out,
How to cap a pipe????
