Dissuade
Lonely lost love laid-back,
Loyalty, legality layoff.

Death Dogged down,
Died due for love.

The dissuade love which neither started,
Nor it has an end....

Life
life is like a gigantic mirror
everyman could view a dream
every dream could make a hero
effort gives a taste of cream
to a dogged dreamer’s image
yet fate taunts a dreamer’s age!...

Pretty Loss
There was a pretty child blessed with carers
Boundless joy encircled home and their dears
Ill-luck dogged them, their lives
The spirit of child soared high
Heart-rending scenes moved the dears and the nears !!...

I've got one left,

gettin' dogged' in the cleft,

wicked walked it to the bet,

poured out rage and left-

...hey yeah
on a step,

a bad measure of the best,

but hey,

my faith is at rest so let's next!...

There, somewhere yonder, I have to go
It looks like a long arduous journey,
I get on the road and walk,
Dogged by dubious dilemma
Fear brewing in the pit of my stomach,
Where to? I do not know!

Day and Night
Shine from the scorching sun
paints a vivid blood red sky
blue is a most perfect canvas
upon which appears such a show
Its followed by a star dogged moon
Sharp it pierces the quiet dead of night
Then its lights up a path for weary men
and with joy they follow the afterglow ....

Meowing Nemesis
My days are dogged
by ankle-panthers,
my nights cursed
by the thwarted yowls
of sexual athletes.

I try to negotiate a way
into their affections
yet they scorn
chin tickles,
my hesitant ear petting.

They all strut away
tails stiff in the air
flashing me that old pink
one eye....

Cabochon sleuths
milling around--
these creatures seeking
the advantage,
ever-vigilant and dogged,

sometimes crossing their legs
to slip by.
Ugly behind the eyeballs,
wretchedly alone,
lacking ethics and propriety.

Repugnant to the core
and bafflish, too.
(willy-whimpers, all of them)
biting me
adding injury to their insult....

A roar

It's not the day of the gardener.
He appears today after skipping a holiday.

The morning coffee is lovely, joining KUSC, 91.5 FM at it.

A raucous mower goes on a binge of
Shaking a teacup and breaking the air.

I escort the vibration resonating to his home
As happiness in the sublimation of the dogged roar....

Fame
Like a coconut shy
The pedestal an invitation
To find fault
Topple and pillory
Fame the modern obsession
Fifteen minutes in the sun
Now the goal
Not a deserved byproduct
Earned through hard graft
Or god-given talents
Just the limelight
For its own sake
The insane dogged pursuit
Of chasing the dragon
For its addictive temporary high
To find it bites you
And swallows you whole...

Dead Nature Or Unnatural Death
Road span of knots,
panels off line,
concrete of slopes,
signs every mile.

Dogged heart beats,
all here in haste,
tense nerves of streets,
the last – the first,

Wheel marks of brake,
air petrol fume,
black traces fade,
combustion doom.

Wrong pulse on earth,
neurons at odds,
no cares on death,
tired soul of clots....

Paper
On paper I am perfect,
On paper I am fine
On paper I see everything,
All that is mine
But paper gets worn down,
Paper tears with time
The ink will slowly fade away,
The words will slowly die
Paper tells a story,
which can often be a lie
It's dogged ears can hide the truth,
It's cuts can make you cry
But paper wont match reality,
However hard I try

The ink will slowly fade away,
Maybe it's my time....

 "I can!"
               Tell yourself that.
Oh yes, you can, and will...
If you put your plans in motion
 Your drive and dogged determination;
the wind beneath your study wings
        Make "I can" your mantra
                   Say it loudly...
                        I can!

A Road To Nowhere
"All of us are on a journey and the answers are unspoken" ~ Constance La France

There, somewhere yonder,
I have to go,
It looks like a long
arduous journey to nowhere;
Yet, I got to get on the road
and walk
dogged by a dubious dilemma,
A fear brewing in the pit of my stomach…
Where to?
I just do not know!

Dogged
Sometimes the day has a framework.
You know how to color in
inside the lines
then there are the other kind
when the hours run out of the sides
of your eyes
you fumble through
and it's still okay
but that lumbering shaggy dog of your mind
has to scratch at an itch
you once thought you had cured.
Such daze seek a kennel to fill,
however, that kind of shelter
has sharp nails in it
so you make yourself small
just for a while....

Stars
Ever-present,
Gems with magnificent spark.
Never absent,
just lost in the dark.

Each an answer to a plight,
wanting to be traced.
Wish upon one in the night,
for dreams are to be chased.

But as city grows,
Dark is the endless sky.
Black with dogged sorrows,
Lights gone out with an exhausted sigh.

But when in fields far away,
when city is gone and you no longer fret,
in the sky they play,
the dreams of all, never met....

The Shield of Captain America
Shield of protection,
Shield of honour,
Shield of hope,
He wields it against the enemies,
He tosses it against the foes of justice,
Evil lurks in the streets,
The assailants hide in the silhouette,
Danger is on the trail,
The dark sides of men are unleashed,
Nightfall births fear,
The shield of justice fights every sinister act,
Captain America’s shield is dogged and resilient,
Captain America’s shield stays faithful to the task.

Light In the Darkness 2
Candles burn low flickering,
brilliance ebbs with each flurry;
Focus fades midst bickering
waxing cold, dreams get blurry.
Slipping away, day by day

Wicks grow short the consequence
of waste and careless trimming;
Message lacks a permanence
because of dogged dimming.
Slipping away, cannot stay

Vigilance would glorify
Christ as the Light that kindles;
our darkness does signify
negligence, burned-out candles.
Slip-sliding far, far away
