Reindeer
Hauling Santa across quite a span
Gave tired reindeer a devious plan
When he grew too obese
Stuck in a chimneypiece
They replaced him with a lighter man

Her satin pants and bra kept slipping
she was forever at them hauling
her knicks around her ankles
her face as red as bangles
as at them she kept on tugging

Clapperclaw
Soul abducted by a fermented sweet drops
Morose temper, hauling like a deranged fox
   Tongues idle within cracked lips
    Herbs ashing between finger tips
A brawl stirred, Victims refugee on roof tops.

Lights Out
Lights out
flicker and fade
 Sunshine soaking up shade
never-ending road
destination unknown
Coal-burning train
hauling a heavy load
Long narrow tunnel
Light at the end
Knowing what's after
We can only pretend...

Moonless Night
Hauling up
the debris of your life
   in failing light.

*

    Bending like grass.
Standing like a solid rock-
    where did you reach ?

*

   The fatal night-
to remove the downy velvet
   from your sharp antlers.

Be
As I sit quietly on my bed,
The voices still swirl in my head,
What they are saying,
Keeps replaying,
No matter how hard I try,
 They just wont die,
My destiny is calling,
Time out, no more over hauling,
My ancestors are telling me,
Go forward and Be!...

Hauling huge heifers to High Heavens
Seems somewhat simple but not heaven sent
Because bulls’ brides can be back-breaking...
Welcome to Wycombe! Smell heavenly scent!

On the lake with expensive gear I troll

On the bank is a kid with willow pole

Much to my chagrin

He's hauling them in

I can't get a nibble to save my soul

Your Last Day
I release and set you free.
I take the guilt to keep.
And as you soar with my memory...
More sweet than bitter, I wish.
I trudge on in life, a lesser self, hauling my deep regret.
That which I passed up in you, the right that proved wrong- I agonize.
If I could do it once more… I’d give my heart for you to take....

Follow Me
It was four in the morning
when he entered the 7-Eleven
and pointed at the cash register.

A middle-aged woman
hands over a pile of dollars.

He tells her: “My name is Jesus – follow me.”

She checks her makeup.
He waits patiently for her in the parking lot.

They drive away in a beat-up truck
hauling gardening tools....

Touch Me Not
Butterfly interrupted.
Fear grips the flowers
eaten by the winds.

I seek the guilt for
not walking on the dunes
to build a sky.

The cracked roof
lets in the rain. I
drench my driftwood.

One day a god will sit
on my altar to speak
to ailing mother-

earth hauling away
the burden of waste
of human verbiage.

The Heart of a Poet
The crushing night left me with little remorse
We approach down;
The hauling wind doesn't take so much from
The beast that ripped ma clothes off,
Hearts be passing,
we see through a chest - cracked open
The trumpet of ma heart beat
Doesn't forget to remind me to dance to this sad melody
Yes you KNOW, you have seen..

Disbelievingly
Fraternising
the needles
on abbreviated lips.
Handful of sand
hauling uphill.

Code of particles
feels the entire lie.
You wear mauve
when I cry.

Like diatoms
in eyes.
Erase the sun
from my hairs.
I am turning black.

The brine
had encroached all around.
The brown grass, the soaked laughter,
but I will come again in disbelief.

Rochester Discourse - Cedar Hill
From here I see again - not property
Men mangled and maimed by history
Not the shadows in chains
Chipping and hauling wooden flesh
Creation with more license
Than God on the silver skin
Carried its cargo before the wind
Of meaninglessness -
Here looks across the shining city
The muted mist of history
And here stand only as man
Nonnegotiable, nothing less....

Blazing Trail
They swim like tadpoles.
Thoughts!
I was waiting at the far end of pond.

Heartburn increases at dusk,
fierce battle of blazing stripes
on blankets.

On the scarlet face
a bridge was burning
in wide open eyes.

Somebody takes an aim
hauling a runaway bruise.
Blood comes out roaring.

Weep, my stars,
ice was thin –
drowning the lake.

Snared Love
O' love the heart is a blueprint of sky
Empty and darkness engulf at high
Of love no vastnesses there is
Of tear no drops of the ocean there is
Merely a salty sigh is flying on the lonely jeered sky
On the peak of mind tower just hauling a roar
No arrow, no bow, no Cupid in abjured nature
Every rose has died by its thorns and snare

Stone Money 1500th Poem
Some Pacific islanders are all alone. For money, they use big heavy pieces of stone. The island of Yap is where they conduct this trade. To live here, I would be a bit afraid. It seems only the strongest people would be rich. Hauling those monetary units would be a *****. I hope I never land here if I am cast adrift. If I do, where can I rent a forklift?

Tics Grow Dreams
Slamming back from a pedigree
Feather weights accentuate
Dodge and dart, meditate

Throw down the majesty
Standing statue to lumbering birds
Grotesque reflects off the shin bone

Moses parting the red sun
Hauling banquets with captors
Captives sling up the frozen masters

Atomic beats streaking spleens
Intestinal with pesicide, the tics grow dreams
Split to dull gather, sending cinders...

The Love I Breathe
Above the deep blue clouds, i
overhear you hauling like the east wind
kissing all over my neck, where i
lay, so beautiful as the butterfly wing

which I cannot catch
only to feel the lifelong soothe
you offer before the sun hatch
and discomfort me in my suit

ample _ sweats falls like tears
from the rain down to my ring
you never stop flirting with my ears
times you come by and sing....

Premium Member Riding a Bluegill
Oh, amazing bluegill mushroom hunting gnome,
Sauntering through coral’s lifeblood, all on his own
Easing his way into the den of the fishmongers’ bit
Riding a bluegill as if his pirate lifestyle depends on it
And maybe it does, his ocean seaworthy life anyway
He slides through life merrily, hauling kelp out of his way
We watch him glide through dangerous layers of the deep
He rides a fish of beauty and strength, a steed to keep....
