Driving
I take a drive in the woods.
Viewing beauty all around
Relaxed, calm until I see.
An empty fuel gage....

46.
Poetic keystrokes
On my chest cavity
Meek records, not enough tallies
Yet the universe remains benevolent.

I am happy laughing philosphy
Gage the light
Breathe--exhale--precious
Courage can’t appear on a Powerpoint....

Stop Expecting
I need to stop expecting,
The wrong in the world to change
For the depth of evils penetration,
I can't even begin to gage
What's the point of hoping,
For a thing that will never come
It's best to stop looking for good,
In a place it has ceased to come from...

Motorcycle Physical Poetry
Hands on bars
Foot shift
Wheels custom
Seat smoothed shape
Saddle bags filled

Teardrop tank
Filled with fuel
Gage reads oil and fuel
Speed 0 to 60
Headlight on

Blinker clicks
Helmet smoked black
Kickstand down
Key in ignition
Ready to go

No Motorcycle License
That’s a no, no...

Tit For Tat
An eye for an eye
A lie for a truth
A song for a sigh
A note for a groove

A line for a page
A pen for some ink
A light for a stage
A show for a drink

An app for an age
A web for a site
A chart for a gage
A gig for a bite

A kiss for a chance
A tongue for a taste
A deuce for a dance
A catch for a phrase

Premium Member The Battle
Tis with my mind I speak. Tis with the heart I seek. This battle that wages on and on, I win today; but not without scorn. I hear the bells ring loud and clear, What is it I must do today without fear. I AM the one chosen today, I can't be left in the fray. So on and on the Battle rage, I will win tomorrow with courage and gage.

Premium Member Autumn Drive
Early morning,
too, too early.
Highway clear,
no other cars
on this long, black
ribbon into space.

Gas gage reaches
for empty
Nose pretends
to be a sieve,
no tissues in my purse.
Stress builds.

I top a rise, descend
into a valley of color.
Fall’s brilliant hues
burst into my vision,
steal my breath.

Thank you, Father.
Tap me on the shoulder
any time you please....

Dear Child
Inside I feel you
Watching my belly move
A human life that’s true
Aiden Gage
Starts a new page
The book of life inlay
I can’t wait till the day
Labor room
Leaving your cocoon
The hours draw not soon
The sun leaves comes the
Moon
Black hair
Cold and bare
Skin wrinkled and fare
For you I care
18 years
Grown is what I fear
No more baby will draw near
When you turn adult my eyes
Leak tears...

Mirrors are windows to the past.
Reminders of days gone by.
What we see in the glass
is some other you and I.

We see the way we used to look,
Impervious to change from age.
We don’t realize that time took
too much for us to gage.

It takes a long lost friend or mate
Or some one we seldom see.
To really get our thinking straight
And know what and whom we be.

M. R. I.
Another increment of measure drops;
And while looking forward and around;
Into the reflections of time;
I can only wonder what it is I hope to see.
And in this capsule of imaging
I roam through the inner worlds of my mind
Looking perhaps for that hidden path
That might eventually make my life immortal.
But as I gage cause
And search for answers;
The reflections seem to do little more than;
Simply pass in review....

At All Things I Rush
At my present in excusable age
I still crazily rage
In lien of acting The Sage:
Bold to open a wrong page
Upon receipt of a poor wage:
The Dry Look of one in a cage
And to my Boss “I’m twice your age!”

And at this far-gone age,
A few things I bother to gauge,
Little releasing to Image,
To one day end up in my village …

In short, at things I rush
And Concerned Advisers hush
Or their advice crush
Or watch their concern crash
And still mumble a line rash....

The single roll is 70 cm X 5 Metres.

Where it is hard to Gage
