If not only in substance,
Then in name.
From Berk' also

Premium Member Unfortunate Circumstances
A certain young fellow in Frisco
Went dancing one night at a disco
Tipsy, I am told,
When he lost billfold
Now he's lost his job with Nabisco.

Premium Member Can'T Have It All Anywhere
It's hard to smile in Frisco, with feces on the ground
Equally difficult in Chicago, where crime abounds downtown

But there's always 'sunny Florida,' from which leftists are fleeing
No more socialists, LGBTQ-advocates, or folks on sidewalks peeing...

Jaded Holiday inn Frisco
Jaded holiday in Frisco ,
Where Paul Getty lost his marbles harbour

For a old dog tawg
Rumble a chick

Banjo medicine and black madness
Eager paws or void in of contempt

I can't roll dice at Coney island
Without a slow snow cone

Program for Rita ford
Or a lengthy draught of carpenter wood...

Premium Member Brief Retreats
After a restful summer night with
Gifted accommodation at Four Seasons;

It was from a peer on the Bayshore,
That we launched into Frisco Bay.

We headed east toward the Golden Gate,
The way to the Far East, and turned

Around under the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was a tasty treat, a great escape.

God was faithful in providing retreats.
My wife and I met such gracious people.

Premium Member Limerick Croises: Once a Loud-Mouthed Sergeant-Major
Limerick croisés : Once a loud-mouthed Sergeant-Major

Once a loud-mouthed Sergeant-Major
Joined Cold Stream Guards to troop colour
He kept wondering why
He heard not himself cry
Until he took bearskin helmet off ear!

So he left the Lilywhites Guards
To lounge around the ‘Frisco bards
Beats made him bleat poems
Sans use of micro-phones:
What he heard made him rejoin Guards!

The New West Coast
There are boats resting on the Idaho shore. The west coast we once knew is no more. Frisco and Los Angeles we can no longer see. They have become places in our history. Oakland and Fresno are at the bottom of the sea. They are like the Atlantis of antiquity. We tried to warn the populace, but to no avail. It only took one good shake on the Richter Scale. Goodbye to what we knew as “California”. Let’s spend some time on the beach in Nevada.

Sailing From Frisco
Leaving the Golden Gate behind us
heading into the open sea
I vigorously wave back from the sun deck
uppermost her funnel capped by distinctive yellow welsh bonnet
seeming close but easily clears the span with room to spare
ahead lies the broad blue open sea
one always imagines tomorrow will shine
it is a beautiful breezy day
morning wishes shone shining clear and calm
splashed now some forty years or more in its auric haze
still I am rocked to the sea-beat of life in my ears...
