Found Poetry
My life is true because
It showed me the world.
Wandering, showed the world to me.
I didn't know that life would
love me in such a way....

Gathering Poems
I went into the woods
To seek solitude
And found poetry,
Uncovered words
Under old leaves and
Decoded secret messages
In the pebbles by the stream.
The stones whispered to me,
And the silence
Distilled into song.

Fp 1 That Day of Days
once
on Good Friday
they looked
upon love,
at first
silence
a silence
so black
so dense,
then the sound..
a gentle
wind-
after ..
comes the dawn
Found poetry 8 inspired by Hedges prose of Clare Leighton...

Focus
The focus... Where is the focus?
I found it -
I found the body, the shape, the background.
I lost the confusion
What is left is reflection
the inspiration... now... !
Created me, poet,
I found poetry,
with her I am happy...

For Barteena of Habit Am a Creature
Of Habit Am a Creature
Of habit, I have become a creature,
That always needs another teacher,
To learn from;
More than some,
And for Trump many an impeacher.

When I Found Poetry
Accident occurred
Destroyed my tender right arm
Nerve damage is diagnosed
Life is changed around
Left me with just one good arm
Painful outside, and inside
With this being said
My life was changed forever
My arm, but mostly writing
I found poetry
And I wrote to rid of pain
It worked, I healed, I live on
Russell Sivey...

Found Poetry
The clock has struck twelve
You know it deep down
Deep down in your soul
Because I am your soul
There is no escape
No matter what
You are small
You are weak
You are a hollow shell
A rusty trap
I burn you
You try to quell me
But I smolder
I flare, bright, hot, and beautiful
With all your wine
With all your vows
and the weight of age
You cannot stop me
You always run
You try to drown me out
Still you try
Still you are weak...

Hit By Illness
Illness, like a stealthy thief,
snuck up on me, knocked me flat,
and ransacked my interior,
Taking things I didn’t know
were missing until I
got back up again.
Gone was the mask
of illusion that shielded
me from my mortality.
Bare were the walls
that kept sorrow
hidden for years.
Robbed of certainty
and confidence in
my own capabilities,
I stood vulnerable
in the uncluttered space
of my life -
and found poetry....
