It is amazing how unleasing our pent up words can heal a multitude of hurt and pain. I'm so glad you found this as a source of your own. Congratulations on a wonderful winning poem, Russell. And thank you so much for all your kind encouragement. Happy Holidays!

Russell the fact that this is true from life makes it deep and poetic at the same time. All my poetry is from my life as it has affected me ,feelings are the catalyst for great poetry! Anne

Russell, What a weird and tragic thing. You say you healed? Do you no longer have the nerve damage then? I started writing poetry right when I was on the brink of things falling apart in my life. I wonder if that is why most of us starting late in life are doing it!!
