Space stations spin to create gravity
Spin to create stillness

I too have to be moving ever so quickly
To feel a semblance
Of stability

Flee Fly Flo Flung

To Ben McDuff poor Mary would cling
When Ben McDuff did his Highland Fling
But so fast did he fling than she came unclung
And over the Highlands she was flung

Flee Market

On Saturday I went shopping
Where someone's fleas were still hopping
I don't wish to give blood
To fleas jumping from crud
Go somewhere else for flea swapping!

Memories Flee

Escaping into tomorrow,
  while running from today

The wolf gives chase, my memories flee
—the past to howl and bay

Flee...

The blood drips from the page.
Intoxicating smell perforates, ensues.
Taking back again. Female apparatus.
Figment of an over zealous imagination.
A dream, fantasy personified.

Flee

perplexed.
with such conviction,
mania fixed, fabricated dialect
of a place
nonexistent. choke,
breathe, introduction- as faults
stick, seethe.
glee, combustion contorts,
distorts, creates revolution.

Time To Flee

why feeling guilty
when you're not the one to blame,
it's now your turn to see
how could they feel no shame
it's now your turn to flee,
prove that you're not the same,
save your soul and break free,
they will end up forgetting your name

Premium Member TOO MANY COOKS SPOIL THE BROTH

My kitchen will hold the key, love like warm oven brie. Too many cooks here so flee, this is my holiday plea. Only one needed cook bee, with dinner and hot tea. The broth must not taste like the sea, but with a touch of glee.

    Dissonance in me awakens
       Feelings faint and badly shaken

by hearts - come clean - that are now achin'

STATION MEETING

STATION MEETING

The time has come
years depart
I slap your stomach
You throttle me for my
gems
I have none
my gems are the stars
sardines swim towards me
chains rattle loose
to the children in the
Wilderness I flee

As Answers Flee

Is the Poetry in the thinking
or the writing

Is the message in the reading
or the hearing

Is the feeling trapped between
what’s spoken and the silence

Is the spirit released as answers flee
—from questions yet to ask

(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2016)

Flee To the Ship

From cities of strife
we sail tonight
on waves of peace

By prayer
and sacrifice,
courageous hearts
safely steer,
guiding the ark

Fear not the storm!

Come aboard!
leave hand sanitizer on shore—
your
clean heart
is all
that is
required

I Can'T Flee From Me

Where can I flee
How can I hide
I'll still be me
On the opposite side

Wherever I go
There I am
Rerunning my show
Mary's little lamb

Despite the distance
Of here and there
Equivalent diligence
Nothing spared

I cannot dig
Climb, crawl or fly
An alternative gig
But I remain I
me

Premium Member Today Is Out Of Order

Today is out of order.
I just want to flee,
everything is biting me like a big yellow bee.
The day started off with mold on my brie,
then I lost my only house key.
Under the bed looking for my shoe on one knee,
my pants went wet with pee.
Please just set me free,
this is my one and only plea.

Flee From Fear

The man said "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself"
and he was so correct in that regard
Flee from fear!
for fear corrodes the inner spirit
Face the world with an iron resolution
Taste the songs you once knew!
Do you really that that fear will destroy you?
Well - it will !
BUT ONLY IF YOU LET IT

The Shi Quest of Mwamihood

Your majesty, our Mwami,
Where is your Mwamihood?

As the greatest hero of our land,
You let our people suffer,
Trading our future in the shadows,
Like a nation lost to darkness.

And so you flee to distant shores,
Abandoning our struggling souls.
Your majesty, our Mwami,
Where is the honor you once knew

Premium Member Me In Three Was A Dream

Me in three was a dream, when I started out young and free. He went down on one knee, a box with a ring oh no with a key. The key to his heart was his plea, would I stay or flee? We had some hot tea, watching out over the blue sea. We would wed under the pretty big pink tree, now with baby we are three.

Premium Member Flee To Nature

At times, I must flee routine and city work-life,
leave behind my daily schedules and office strife
to linger unrushed where nature remains untouched,
its splendid beauty neither man-brushed nor time-hushed.

When I cannot escape to nature’s lilting scenes
my natural faith aches and wilts in crooked leans.

Premium Member The Chase

No words to capture
elusive love.

Chased,
with boxing glove
laced to hand.

Attempt to catch
a feathered dove;

make a lasting stand.

Stalk
whispered wind

in noon-day traffic.

Place a collar on a flea.

This vessel spent, so suddenly
does seek repose.

Lord knows,
we do our part.

Patching daily hatred

with a beaten heart.

Premium Member i hope one day i get the opportunity to flee on horseback

i ordered at the bar in archbishop's rig

two pork sausages
baked beans
strawberry bear fruit snack
orange juice
meat free burger
r white's raspberry lemonade
bangers and mash
pepsi
corn wheels
hotdog
peppercorn sauce
one wobbly sausage sandwich

on returning to my table
i overheard the barman
'a fool he was, a fool he'll always be'.

Premium Member Spiritual Gem Inside Me

The spiritual gem inside me, sometimes sounds like a huge buzzing bee. This rumbling sound makes me want to flee, flee to peace and not for glee. I know when my soul needs to rest, as I put it back into my chest. This crazy world has it dressed, now my soul needs to pass the test. Even when we are both all stressed, quietness and prayer will fill us with new zest.
