Premium Member They Will Never Be Like Us

Jordan’s pilot caged in a fire
Was filmed and produced global ire
When we use napalm
It’s gift wrapped in a bomb
As our moral plane is much higher

Oh Limp Pix

Found himself dragged through the lower courts
The hotel said
He filmed their bed
When a buxom housemaid dropped her shorts

Woman In Black: Hears the Rooks Cawing

hears the rooks cawing
as he strolls through the grave yard - -
sees her watching him

Premium Member Pork Chop Runs Off With a Leg of Lamb

My pork chop ran off with a leg of lamb
Had a car accident and I mean - BAM!
The first one on the scene was my sweet old gram.
Luckily she had her video cam.
Filmed the lovers running on the lam.
We laugh at that tape whenever we can!

Reunited

She knew her life was through,
But wasn’t scared to die;
She closed her pain filmed eyes,
Her final breath a sigh.

Her husband took her hand,
And whispered, ‘ Welcome, dear.
It’s been so very long -
We won’t be parted here.’

I Am

A collected experience
filmed in memories
A fate's product
plus the sum of all my choices

An unfinished book
written by myself
A story, a novel, a play
to be ended by death

I am a child, a parent, a grandparent
a trilogy of generation
The current story of mankind
A sequel of the ages...

Public Water Slide

Aqua concrete,
With skinned knees,
And that Alderman
Fat and
Inconspicuus,
Until mother
Filmed him.

The water slide,
Slick and Fun,
but not after
I sprouted
Pubic hair.

And then,
in winter, the
frozen air
Tempted me
To fornicate
In that very
same place.

I pray for
An earthquake,
To shatter and
Dismantle this
Deception

Premium Member Suspended

The world is suspended with her on my chest;
her breathing is steady and I am at peace.
So much in this moment, both slowed and compressed;
the cares of the day are forgotten, released.

How is it we let such moments slip by,
failing to grasp how important they are?
Careless indifference, letting time fly,
stuck on the sidelines, filmed from afar.

Premium Member I Want a Good Lawyer

I want a daily dose of Perry Mason
(with a sweet side-dish of Della Street thrown in),
the episodic filmed in black and white one.
Give me just one hour every weekday mornin'
of charming Mister Drake detecting where, why,
when Mason's hostile witness will tell a lie,
and then confess murdering his evil boss
without remorse and not counting it as loss.

Premium Member Teethy Mcblade

The most photogenic of this decade
We found this actress in the everglade.
She was lying in the swampiest shade.
Her fascinating color made the grade.
Best of all, she did not have to be paid.
We filmed her as she was during her wade.
Our skittish camera man the whole time prayed.
That our sunlight would not completely fade.
We named this alligator Teethy McBlade.

When Trains Ruled

Train coming down
my way, hearing
its whistle gives
my heart a thrill.

Such a long load
this train is pulling,
going to places
far away and beyond.

Thinking of better days
when trains ruled travel,
bringing this grand country
together for us all to see.

wrote 1-21-09

saw this train at Jim Baker Reservoir in Denver Co
I filmed it then wrote this poem this morning.

Black and White

This perfect setting from the past
An era gone though filmed to last,
Strangely set a wistful thought
As memories and dreams were caught.

How love had lured me to sight
Motion pictures black and white,
To understand the story clear
Whilst living in the yesteryear.

Black and white you take me to
Nostalgia where I feel blue,
Though presently with clear foresight
Merely due to black and white.

How My Eyes Condemned By My Heart

In this solitude cold morning,
I see you in stripe.
With umbrella atop your head
And a pocketful of your hand,
You walk gracefully with filmed legs.
My two eyes were deep and mumble
My skin was warm against the cold wind.
Then, you're nearing towards me
I just look to the horizon
When you smile.
Time, you're passing by
I just close my eyes and imagine,
That my eyes condemned by my heart.

Mother Said

Master your temper, don’t speak what is false
Open your eyes and help fix others wounds
Try to do be nice, and never be angry
Hope can be found, no matter your problem
Every confidence is a secret
Remember, efforts are never nothing

Sometimes memories are better not filmed
An expert always feels out of their depth
In life, the best comment is no comment
Do not forget- life is best lived, not dreamt

Premium Member Rain Rhapsody

Rain diffuses mystically the edges of distance,
while the slant drop arrays slice the silence,
thread the window pane with trembling lines,
I sense subtly sketch dripping lattice on my palm
I trace on the fog-filmed glass with my fingers.
The moist ground exhales the scent of petrichor,
the smoky smell drifts through rain-splashed air.
Outside, everything is splattered, washed clean,
inside, tenderly touched, I feel it all, slowly softened.
