Reunited

She knew her life was through,
But wasn’t scared to die;
She closed her pain filmed eyes,
Her final breath a sigh.

Her husband took her hand,
And whispered, ‘ Welcome, dear.
It’s been so very long -
We won’t be parted here.’

Hello Mr Horne I would like to use Reunited at my aunt’s funeral and print it on the order of service with a credit to you. Is that ok? If so, would it also be ok to use ‘tired’ in place of ‘pain filled’ Many thanks - this poem is apr for our situation. Robert Davies
