Dr. Frankenstein,
So very clandestine.
Wanted to create life,
Experiment created monstrous strife.
(a little late for Halloween, but haven't been able to post it before now)

discard
the imperfect

and reflect-
and traverse this bridge...

There was an old man named Lawter
He mutated an onion, a donkey and his daughter
The experiment went well
As you can tell
She now has an ass that make your eyes water

Young Frankenstein was a straight A student,
but, he did some things maybe he shouldn't -
like that time in the lab
when he took a strange stab
at an experiment, most imprudent.
human interest in the unknown
extra-terrestrial creatures
from a faraway galaxy
who display long faces
and come in search of
humans to experiment on
probing and prodding
to see how we tick
The plug was pulled on the prison experiment
While the state plugs away with apparent merriment
While absolute power corrupts absolutely
The people march during pandemic resolutely

He created man
as a dream to be
an experiment in a bottle
to be kept you see
he created the world
as a place to be free
but someone opened the bottle
and set man on a spree
Big Mistake
I volunteered for an experiment
to assess the effects of merriment
I laughed so very hard
My funny bone was scarred
Much to my humerus’ imperilment
Holding your heart is
like having an perilous
experiment on
reigniting the
dying sun: it is so hard
and seems entirely
hopeless, yet it's the
last chance of humanity;
it’s still worth fighting for it.

You didn’t see or hear
Anything about diabetes
Now it’s almost like the
Whole world has it
From babies, small children
To adults, makes a person
Wonder why?
Is it an experiment with
The food
abhorrent aberration of freedom restraint
due to a virus toxic to taint
indiscriminately poisoning justification
fear mongering media increasing pervasion
bigger heads gorge greater merriment
whilst executing each experiment.

Needing, grasping
Spinning
Alone
Spinning
Hating, killing
Spinning

Dying, waning
Spinning
Gasping
Spinning
Twitching, freezing
Spinning
Dying

Benjamin Franklin, to prove lightning held electricity,
Flew a kite in a storm; attached to the kite cord was a key.
Though some thought this dangerous experiment was a bit odd,
Franklin sparked more inquiries and invented the lightning rod!

Power-house kid mixes milk and some FLOUR
with dirt; he's planning a really big FLOW'R.
He is OUR young grandson and hopes to see
within the HOUR (or less) a dumpling tree.
I explain: DUE to the dawn's heavy DEW,
the ground apologizes: "No can DO!"
