Into The World Of Men

                                          All men
                                   All over the world
                                Understand each other
Think and evaluate each other the same.

20-20 Vision

Open your eyes
Open your ears
Feel with your heart
Evaluate, analyze, scrutinize
Using the absolute instrument of truth
Will gain you enlightenment
And expansion
Of the mind!
And the path to
A larger capacity hard drive
In your head!

Premium Member First Draft

A rough idea
invades brain waves.
Words flow. A pen glides,
line after line across the page.

Anticipation, hope rings.
It grows, lives, sings.

Evaluate, punctuate
strike out, insert
distill, re-frame
copy, finis.

read aloud . . . scrap.

Premium Member Health Crisis

The doctors say I am a total wreck
They will evaluate the rest they find
Bottom of my feet to top of my neck
It appears I have misplaced my mind.

Secret Life of Us

We dare to dream, believe, acheive, receive
Our lives we evaluate, contemplate, recreate
Endlessly seeking validation, destination, admiration, expectation
Using our imaginations, Succombing to lifes' sweet temptations
Surrounded with lies, disguise, your demise, no surprise.

Premium Member Good, Isn't It?

When Cheech and Chong evaluate,
they do not say, "this stuff is great."
A fly, too, expresses merriment
when landing on fresh excrement.
Using his best English diction,
he doesn't rankle, nor cause friction,
"Allow me to say, if you permit,
this is really good...isn't it?"

Premium Member Time Away

Did you forget who loves you? I think so.

You should never have done what you did
to someone who cares so much for you.

So I am giving you the time you seem to need
to gather your senses, re-evaluate your priorities
and realize what you had.

Only then, perhaps, we can be as one.

Cosmos

free state
   need resuscitate
   can’t hesitate
   to evaluate
   then elaborate
   specious debate
   too late
   dare dedicate
   stilling hate
   egos inflate
   do perpetuate
   inevitable fate
   armageddon date
   will not wait
   lest we consecrate
   civil complaint

Know What the Truth Is

K-now what the truth is,
R-efrain from going astray;
I-t's time to see the light,
S-eptember seventh Thursday.

A-im to know what the truth is,
L-et the real facts flow;
B-e sentient of dangerous deceit,
E-vade the tricks of foe.
R-eview or evaluate
T-he verity of a piece;
O-pen your eyes and mind, know what the truth is.

Premium Member A Day In Life

Start the day
Fresh
With energy
With confidence
With hopes
With plans
With dreams
Full to the brim
So that you don't have any time
To grumble uselessly
To evaluate things too strictly
To compare greedily
Until you confuse yourself
About today, yesterday and tomorrow
And overlook today
Which should be the most important day

Pause, Reflect

Pause, soberly reflect and recollect
Today, your thoughts, the things you did
Mentally your day revisit
Pause, soberly reflect and recollect
Evaluate truthfully, bias deficit
Ponder in truth, sentiments be rid
Pause, soberly reflect and recollect
Today, your thoughts, the things you did.

Compromise On Aisle Three

I've been wondering
what's easier
Giving up?
Or giving in?
Because
I want to do a little of
both.
I need to weigh the cost
evaluate
Want to get my moneys worth
after all.
But wait,
it seems
Giving up
and giving in
are really the same
thing.
Looks like compromise
is on sale this week.
Too good a deal to
pass up
if you ask me.

Echo of An Earlier Time

A-n echo of an earlier time
N-ever lacks the memory;
N-or does it voice nothing,
A-s it tells a specific story.
L-et echo of an earlier time
Y-earn to whisper the sound;
N-ever turn a deaf ear to the truth that you have found.

O-n the eleventh of September,
N-ever touch the grime;
D-on't deny but evaluate
E-ach echo of an earlier time.

Premium Member Lost My Way

I wonder if I have lost my way
Got caught up in all the hype
Doing what I think I should do
Being a certain type!

I need to take a step back
Take stock and re-evaluate
Remember why I began this
In the first place!

Sometimes we lose our focus
Often forgetting the reason why
I need to go back to the very beginning
Recall the true motivation and once again apply!

Premium Member A Snow Day

There’s a blizzard outside
Wanna’ go for a ride?
With toboggans and sleighs
And drifts that amaze

So we bundle up tight
And head out with delight
The winds are so brisk
We evaluate the risk

After our ride
We head back inside
The hot chocolate’s now hot
We sip down a lot

There’s a blizzard outside
The winds howl and chide
“Stay by the fire,
And avoid my ire!”

Premium Member Critical Thinking Opens the Mind

Critical thinking is science at work,
not hasty indictment with cynical smirk.
Start by collecting data and facts,
   then analyze, synthesize, hypothesize that.
At final judgement to general position,
evaluate sides for the best supposition.

           Apply reason when testing
           Check facts to the letter
           Challenge your choices
            From good to much better.

Assaying

Sailing,
triangulating the body.
I will not come for the false blues.

You dig out the bones?
to evaluate the sickle,
that failed to trim the dark.

The murder was clean.
A religion lies beheaded.
Anaerobic, the poem survived.

The animal smell,
stays.Overpowers the limbs.
You run blindfolded.

The crickets emit an omen.
A sulfur burns.
The yellow sun was rising.

Premium Member Then and Only Then

If we could appreciate as much the:

Sight as the blind

Hearing as the deaf

Walking as the invalid

Health as the sick

Food as the hungry

Home as the homeless

Companionship as the lonely

Love as the unloved

Then and only then

We could evaluate the worth of the treasures

Thee have bestowed upon us, the lucky ones,

Oh Divine father!

A Fine-Tuned Machine

Calling all tuners!
It’s time to convene
To evaluate Trump and
His “fine-tuned machine.”

That’s the claim that he’s making
But most seem to feel
His machine might be missing
A cog or a wheel…

Or a lot more than that.
It just makes the blood boil
And to fix things, dear tuners,
You’ll need more than oil.

So get started right now
And if we are in luck,
This machine can be salvaged
Before we’re all…..stuck!

Release Me (Acrostic)

Release the victory of my heart; I seek the most.
Evaluate my soul’s contentment, so secured.
Let me live the life I was destined to breath.
Examine my mind the dreams are lying round.
Attack the entity that inhabits my personality.
Seal my trepidation; release my equanimity.
Examine my fantasy; allow its reality out.

Mine is a battle, inconceivable within this time.
Evangelical intervention, I wait for my genesis.

Climax

A self-evaluation of life How did we get there? Climax tho’ connote performance Not what think in sex alone Under the shower or tub, where? But, climax is the very core Of success and comfort, not otherwise Climax alright is climbing the maximum thus define We set aside malice We have to analyze and evaluate How and where we have gone It is rather holy effort of twosome Maybe in your aloneness but unimaginable It has to be between you and me!

Premium Member all is well unless

Today in my role as elementary school counselor
I am allowing the third graders all kinds of freedoms
It is easier than me teaching a counseling lesson
I hope the principal does not choose today to evaluate me
I am giving myself a break after taking two sick days
Slowly oozing myself into my role
Children are delighted
They are given eight choices
Any computer program approved by their teacher
I am their hero
All is well
Unless my supervisor steps in
