numb butterfingers
need inflatable buoys
attached to their phones
to stop the silly slip dips
to which dumb users are prone
"Don't panic! Just pretend you're dead
and he won't even know you're there!"
"Seriously? And just who in the world
gave you that advice... the bear?"
Today, I chose to shave my head,
by a shaky hand I was led,
I tried to glide the razor,
cut me quick like a laser...
"Emergency room!" Enough said?

Let's pray that he gets better soon.

In a world of growing uncertainty,
whenever there's a great emergency,
Doctors Without Borders

with profound humaneness and urgency.
Sitting in overnight emergency ward
Front row seats for drama unfolding nonstop
Almost forgetting why I came

If you ever had to go there
It would give your mom such a scare
If when they cut off your clothes
From your head down to your toes
You had on holey underwear
Emergency
My heart fell from its home
When your hand
Graced my skin
And only your warm words
Can put it back into place
Touch me again
And start the cycle once more

At a Pickering site, an emergency quite overt
Until the “all clear”
Terror was quite near
First time for such a scare so blurred

I’ve got to see you
It’s an emergency
My heart is bleeding
I have waited too long now
I need a love transfusion
Tanka form for Rick Parise’s contest
Is is always this slow
Never have I known it to go fast
Time just drags on while I wait
Ever and forever time takes
Really slow
Never fast
Even if there’s an emergency
Time just ticks away

Which would resulting in a resurgency;
Things we may fear;
Soon will be here;
Final result had produced an emergency.

And can't find eleven, kids'll tell ya immediately

My Mind and Medical Emergency
My mind made me have a medical emergency,
To meet God was met with a severe urgency;
On Him relied;
This, I denied;
Sinned and needed wafer than wine insurgency.
