Stoned and thrilled I stared
Sweet lady mime I’m speechless.
A match made in Paradis?

Snapshots I kept near
Equal heartbeats in sync pound.
Ear-piercing pitter patters

Fireman
Through the wind
and heat
he answered
the shrill call,
jumping
onto a red robin
firetruck
fast as light....
with ear piercing
sirens
a bright motion
of urgency
climbing the foothills
just to quench
the enemy
of an ocean
of wild flames....

Nose job

nasal piercing; yeuk! more suitable for cattle what a silly moo! Written after I saw a teenager with a large metal ring through her septum. I can understand ear piercing but the thought of a stud or ring in my nose ... yeuk, but each to their own 3/7/18

Premium Member Bird Lip Grook
My son’s bird loves to squeak and squawk
As through puckered lips, though he’s got none.
I think he likes to hear himself talk,
But his carrying on is not much fun.

I whistle back, though a little flat
Hinting, “Don’t give me none of your lip.”
He replies, with an ear piercing cry
Of, “Chip-chip-chirp, cheep-cheep-chirrip!”

Premium Member Plead From Hell
I hear her pleading
Deep bellow hell
She screams out
I try to tune her beyond
The intensity is great
Ear piercing horror
The words unclear
Voice of great fear
Yelling she tries
To catch my eyes
Beneath all hell
It hurts her still
I cry out for her to cease
Or her grave I will
Decimate and destroy
Intensifying her pain
She slowly recedes
Holding back her scream
I hurt from her terror
I don’t want to go to hell

5 Senses
Seeing is believing,
moving to the thought,
dancing with emotion,
without trying;
to the touch.

Feeling, is saying,
without a word,
spoken to the heart,
accepted by the mind,
ear-piercing by the soul,
a line to the divine.

Dreams conceived,
believed & achieved,
reality becomes oh so real,
with a taste of redemption,
abundantly,
overcoming doubt and fear.

Blessed with 5 senses ,
each keys,
living ,
vivid....

Uncontrollable
an ear piercing scream brakes the dawn
louder than thunder sharper than ice
enough to make even the brave and strong stop in there tracks
it hits faster than lightening
more fearful than a spider
and once its gone all that is left if the memories
and knowing that it will strike again
it causes destruction
and is uncontrollable
impossible to predict
only one thing is certain
destruction is its task
and always succeeds...

The night-shift on Lumparok nine Woke up to an ear piercing whine “Some Dumb earthling loon Has just bombed our moon And knocked the damned thing out of line. “Prepare the atomic collection And launch a high powered selection How dare Humans sin To save their own skin We’ll show them a lunar deflection.” * At NASA there’s resounding cheers With clapping and hugging and beers “Hooray, it’s a hit It moved just a bit We’re safe for a million years.”
