Premium Member A Dream On My Mind

A dream so real
A feeling of being there
While asleep in my bed

In a wooded area
With a narrow winding road
Leading me to a river

Premium Member Gnawing

I can’t outrun you,
with last night’s dream on my lips;
A racing heartbeat
breaking through a private wall,
your kiss is gnawing my gut.
Form: Tanka

Premium Member Stuporous Stance

our fault line
is ego
so what’s next

can we shed
each belief
here and now

seems we can’t
so dream on
in stupor

Morning Star

Sunlight lives in you.
Awakened by a dawning love,
your eyes shine gold.
When peaceful night turns to morn,
the stars dream on your shoulders.

Love At All Ages

LOVE AT ALL AGES

At sixteen
Send me the pillow that you dream on
So I can dream on it too

At sixty
Send me the pillow that you drool on
So I can drool on it too
Form: Verse

Dream On

Welcome
to dark forests
deep

where death
is but a sound
sleep,

where life
is without labor,
care or pain,

where no one
gets sick, grows old,
or dies in vain!
Form: Imagism

Premium Member A Sense of Wonder

A sense of wonder at glistening snow
spiraling high, in drifts it goes

A bluebird hops, so delicate, white powder stirred
Dream on, sweet angel, imagination spurred

Ride On

ride on
ride on
don't turn back now

dream on
dream on
it's closer than you think

stay strong
stay strong
follow your heart's path

ride on
dream on
take me there with you

Premium Member Psychic Storm

Psychic storm ruins sanguine soul.
In the ravaged vale flows
the stream of sorrow.
Memory flakes flush
dregs of dream on dry tear trail,
etched on closed eyes, encasing hope.

Parlor Mishap, Dream On

somehow they forgot
to include one procedure
they asked if I could help them
move you to a bed
I gladly helped lift you up
and stroked your hair one last time...

Dream on, let your mind wander;
Follow your heart down the road,
but always remember home;
Be open to the future,
Yet cherish your memories;
Chase the rabbit down the hole,
Create your own wonderland.

Premium Member Thought of the day

all reactions are egoic
and ego is illusionary
so would we like to dream on
or dwell in time stretched silence
awakening in cave of heart
where we instantly reclaim
light of our eternal Self

Dream On

they have awoken
but yet not spoken
ending dream still intact
but sensory they lack

visions not yet found
lazy distant muffled sounds
delayed feeling of sensation
awareness held for re-creation

Dream On

Dream on baby,
you'll never be his lady.
In his eyes you'll see his smile,
at least for a little while.
Dream on baby,
and hope the night is long.
And prey that you'll be strong,
when you're all alone.

Dream On Little Boy, Dream On- Part 3

She just told me to go back to sleep and that she would take me to see the
psychiatrist tomorrow first thing in the morning. I thought to myself why do these
things always happen to me, especially me.

Play

Kids know that creation is play;
understand that imagination
requires endless reconstruction.

Grown-ups rely on
buckets of hope and pinches of salt,
forget how to play.

Broken toys
in long abandoned sandboxes
dream-on.

Premium Member Dream On

Each night I lie sleeping
I dream of wondrous places in a reverie
Hopes leaping

Floating on clouds
Til daybreak washes over me
No crowds

Dream on
Sunlight, I see
Dawn

Each night I lie sleeping
Til daybreak washes over me
Dawn

Premium Member Kiss To Build a Dream On

I hope when you sleep, you dream. And I hope when you dream, you dream of me. And I hope when you wake, you wake with a smile. Because your lips, found my lips in that perfect stillness that fills the space between such a long and beautiful blink.

A Kiss

Puckered lips
 gentle peck upon the cheek
 a red dress so sheik,
lean in close
 whisper softly in my ear
 hold back the pleasantry,
hug me tight
 in sensual delight
 it's me and you baby,
kiss me once, kiss me twice
 oh, now that's very nice
the kiss to build a dream on.

The Model

Sympatric Aphrodite,
wide photographic opportunity
We bow to our natural needs
Her glare, to all our hopes
The actresses' deft chin, glacial
A mountain of irses
Gadfly 1970s
Where blondes and brunettes
co exist
Dream on the fantasy
Brown boots, high heels
drifting in Autumns air

Winsome

Wake me not for here I slumbered
Intent to dream on days I have not numbered
Natural to the logic of sinister time
Shame it was, the way you meandered
Over my heart like callous pebbles. Slime
Me with frivolous perceptions, and I slandered,
Emasculated, forgive you still for being blind.

Jazzy wedding

Only you can make me smile Cheek to Cheek.
CQ CQ Hello Dolly are you receiving me?

Now I have been rehearsing thoughts of Georgia my love.
I got Georgia on my Mind and A Kiss to Build a Dream on

What a Wonderful World would look like 10 year from now?
Louis Armstrong will you be my best man?

After craving storm calmed down,
from yonder rainbow-splashed sky
descended euphoric clouds.
Enticing memory mist
draped her entranced serene face.
She then let her essence fly
in air of dream on cloud nine.

Premium Member Minichu's Dilemma

restless thoughts drain my mind
to stay or leave, a choice plaguing dead of night
fate...unkind

one dream on hold
while hours invade without delight--
I'm cold

coins tossed
nothing goes right--
lost!

restless thoughts drain my mind
while hours invade without delight
lost!
