Stardust lay o'ver demon who had lost a gleeman Shadowy as nightfall, haunted like vile downfall

Drip

Drip,
Deadlines all down drains,
Friends blown off with seasonal snot,
Time racing by like raging runoff,
Drip, drip, drop

Howdy - put this in your craw!
Tell your ma.  Tell your pa.
Yes sir, you have my word -
verily, I'll pull my sword.
I'm the poet swordsman of Arkansas.

Styx

blood-red skies thunder
a dark boat hauntingly moves
across flaming seas.

Premium Member The Thing I Dread

One thing I really dread
is getting out of bed,
but, when I do, I have so much fun
that when the day is done,
the thing I really dread
is getting back in bed.

we rejoice at
       His return,
            but then it happens
                       again-and-again

Defeat Dread

Defeat Dread

Vanquish fear.
Bond…knowing
God strengthens.

The Dread That Fed

I laid a garland at her head
Of knotted words
Left unsaid.
Rusted flowers
In a bed
Of memories
All but dead.
Eyes red
Heart bled
Courage fled
But no tears shed

...But no tears shed...

Disgrace I Dread

Guide me O Lord
Your Way I can't afford
In you I see the light
That shines in the night
I hope each day you see my heart
I pray we never be apart
My faith is strong
With you I can't be wrong

A Black driver, pulled over.
Out comes White cop, approaching.
Scared, he's thinking morbid thoughts.
"Is this my last day?"

Says he dreads his demonic disease,

But he spreads it like cheap processed cheese.

You'll never inflame ME!

Dread

• These thoughts that fill me with dread • Make me wanna rip the hairs off my head • I can't even be bothered to wake up on time • I'll fall back asleep at the drop of a dime

Middle Age Dread

I
just
walked
back into
the kitchen
for some juice
and then walked
out with a sandwich,
a glass of milk, sweets
and the TV remote
that I lost when
I last went in
my kitchen
an hour
ago

Words fail to explain her Without doubt, sinister Wearisome, she’s dreaded Washed in blackest shadows Wearing death like a cape Wrathful as hell’s fury Wishing for Halloween

Dread

I
dread
boredom
wakefulness
the silence panics
My life has spun out of control
Embarking on a new day is a daunting task now
I must escape from this suffocating prison before I descend further into madness.

2020 Is Coming

If you think that your life’s in reverse — so adverse that you can’t help but curse, I’ve got news for you, pal: it might harm your morale... Things are certain to get muchly worse.

Hippocampus

You must tell what I am when I tell you what I am not!
The area where a red giant swims? That I am not!
The funny fish with the head of a horse? That I am not!
The University with long haired students? That I am not!

Betrayed

Witch in Salem, you see,
Needs spelling, tee hee,
Wizard held another,
Toad was his mother,
Witchy cast charms,
Warts on his arms,
Bald was his head,
Maidens did dread,
Pustules appeared,
Grinning, witch feared!

Unwind In Dread

happy thoughts are sometimes fed,
keep happy ones sublime,
crappy ones decline,
control any source of dread:}
cos they can undermine...
and stand you on your head..
where you mentally unwind,
as poor old johnson said!
Form: Ballad

Dread

a shiver down my spine
alerts me of a sign
something isn't right
will i die tonight
every day my stomach tightens
and everything around me frightens
don't tell me it isn't how i feel
I'm telling you now this is for real

Golden Dread Falls

Golden Maple leaves
Skim along the pond's hard face
In the cold knowledge
That dreads with winter's approach-
Harbinger of snowy dunes.

JOURNEY MIND MAP (24/25) — DREAD

Sense sure stake
Face form fake

In last fling
Late croon strings

Loss brings dread
Touch feels dead

One last leap
Still last sleep

Beans

Beans
What did I do to deserve you?
You mash between my fingers, my toes
I bathe in the sweet, slippery fantasy of
Beans
You exhilarate my appetite
Your sauce swims through my intestines
You saved me from this desolate existence

Judge Dread

I am a tenant
of your penance.

I reside in your house of discontent.

My whispers scream
too loud
and yet
a voice too small to be heard.

I live in a vastness of silence
of words which cannot be heard.

This house is called dread.
Form:

Feel the Dread.

Creation
slips off firm gyration,
Stark convulsions, wildly fluctuate.

Where fanatic zealots refuse to deviate
when the blare of trumpets finally obviate
any need for recourse for the dead?

Watch the moon, rusting red.
Feel the dread.
