Premium Member Another Lottery Dope

I just knew it would be my lucky day
The lottery I decided to play
But I had no luck
Not even a buck
Now we're eating beans until my next pay

Dope

The man thought his outfit was dope
Circus clothes worn from a tight rope
Laughter was all he heard
Wished that he was a bird
To fly away an not have to cope

Why Should Dope I Smoke Horn Haiku

Have another Coke
The whole game was a big joke
So more dope will smoke.

I think some of the Seahawks
fans will be trying if they haven't

His turn in line at the marijuana store
Customer said, "Let's get right to the point
   An honest response is all I ask for --

Premium Member The Deputy Dope

Sheriff Andy’s had his share of strife
with his deputy dope, Barney Fife.
That first time that Barney
showed up full of blarney,
Andy ought to have run for his life!

Scope Out a Dumb Dope

Scope Out A Dumb Dope

Out whole situation started to scope;
We did discover he was dumb dope;
Wears orange stack,
And will stab in back;
With Trump here gave up all hope.

How will footballers huddle
  keeping six feet apart
Are they gonna tackle
  by throwing darts

Wearing face masks under

Premium Member Word Morph - Dope To Lost

Once while I was high on DOPE
I truly lost sight of the DOVE
Which cost me my LOVE
Such a terrible thing to LOSE
My God I felt so LOST

Inspired by Christie & Nigel's
New Contest- Word Morph
Hopefully I did it right

Last Crimson Swirl

Drowning in self degradation
Deliberate affliction is exacerbating
Crystalline facade dulling senses
Normalcy, forgetting our consensus

Score, decennary years within
point, swirling under skin
Finality, deaths creeping in
Exodus, my last syringe

A Dope To Cope

If songs stop to sail,
and dance steps turns stale,
if paintings turns pale;
if wealthy words wail,
an art can avail.

If flowers fail,
and tears leaves trail
...joy is in jail,
and reasoning rail,

only one tale
will prevail
to grant bail.

a dope
to cope:

Hope.

Premium Member Kick the Dope

Peace love and hope
Said brother, kick the dope
I might have relapsed a time or two
But never thought I’d kick the booze
Was love so misguided that I
Sought peace in a semi-permanent
Disillusionment and drunken haze
And hope that there was still
An aspirin on the floor
And beer left for a hangover cure

No Hope, Just Dope,

what do we have, if we got no hope,
well plenty of beer and plenty of dope,
this is the norm of life today,
why cant we go back to the old fashion way,
look at the kids,and what they will do,
they will rob your mother or gran or me too,
why has the world gone so bad,
just look at the poverty its just so sad,

Bad Dope

Tick tick tick tick tick tick,
tock tock tock talk talk talk.
As hard as I try, this
rhythm won't stop.

I beg and I cry, but
the clock won't comply.
I have twelve different questions, but
get the same old reply.

And the medicine, I take,
to cure this disease,
just adds to the problem.
Enhancing unease.

Did See Slope of a Dope

Did See Slope of a Dope

What we did was to have given up hope,
And had decided that they were a dope;
Knowledge lack;
Never bring back;
Intelligence level was a negative slope.
(Appearance looked just like some slope.)
(To have put up with was hard to cope.)

Jim Horn

So how was your poem using hope, dope
and slope.

Dope Delirium

I swear I saw a cat;
she held a cricket bat
and swung it at my head;
I danced upon the bed;
and then a dog appeared -
his clothing looked so weird:
a hat and floral dress,
all tattered - what a mess!
And flying cows in jeans,
all eating jelly beans,
were herding singing sheep;
oh, boy, that snow is deep...

See what I said
Head strong arm strong ham-strung bike dope
See what I said
Training ground's where villains are bred
Good guys strain up Sisyphus slope
Bad guys dope down Paris and mope
See what I said

Dear Dope

dear dope
you come at me willfully
dripping deliciously from the
lips of (a) god (somewhere)
dear dope
ripping at tangles in my hair
you are a telescope of
persuasion (manifest
destiny) tokens that can be
tasted (but not touched)
dear dope
double dutch dialect
murmuring
the misused jumprope
sudden swift (sigh)
unties & slides oh
dear dope

No Dope Have To Cope

Premium Member Rope a Dope

Granny’s words like a blue bell ring true
How you get him is how you’ll loose him too

Playing with words phone sex as clarinet cool
When the reed becomes dull what will you do

When the instruments become familiar ground
Will pink passion be still fashion of solid ground

Are your high hopes and gropes like rope
Enough room to breathe enough room to choke

Abisola

She is multi-talented,
Her writing skill is a dope.
Her speaking skills will lift you up,
Even if you are a Mope.
Though she major in Biology,
She's good with the use of tropes.
Despite her challenges,
She's find a way to cope.
She wakes up daily,
With a renew energy of hope.
Her future is assured,
She doesn't need any horoscope.
There will be a brighter day,
Her name shall be heard everywhere on the globe.

The Forever War

In the Bible it states, that no one should hate.
Yet people still do anyway.
Senseless wars with open doors,
for the Devil's work and play.
What happened to hope? Is it wasted on dope?
We were all born given a name.
Children are dying, families are crying,
yet all we do is blame.
Not a soul is lost, without a cost,
We all have a purpose here.
To pretend to be blind, you will only a find,
a world you have made to fear.
