The Forever War

In the Bible it states, that no one should hate.
Yet people still do anyway.
Senseless wars with open doors,
for the Devil's work and play.
What happened to hope? Is it wasted on dope?
We were all born given a name.
Children are dying, families are crying,
yet all we do is blame.
Not a soul is lost, without a cost,
We all have a purpose here.
To pretend to be blind, you will only a find,
a world you have made to fear.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

"children are dying; families are crying" - exactly right, what a great "write". Welcome to Soup, Angela. I hope you stay for a long time.

I found this very meaningful. And the rhyming excellently punctuating the message you convey. Well done!
