Epigram #52:
FOOL
Be a good tool
A willing fool
To doodle drool

Cock-a-doodle doo.
I smell you.
Oven baked; pan fried.
Shake n' bake; even brined.
Any type will do.
Chicken, I love you.
My sister likes to doodle
I thought she drew a noodle
She gave me a glare
And tugged at my hair
And told me t'was a poodle.
Roosters crow
Cock-a-doodle-do
Crickets hum
Jimminey
An eighteen wheeler heads out
Voices drowned out
What's the difference between a rooster and a hooker?
A rooster says- "Cock-a-doodle-doooo"
A hooker says- "Any-cock-will-doooo"
Voices
Surround with sound
Coo, coo, coo, coo, coo, coo
Cock-a-doodle-doo, coo, coo, coo
Birds' songs

Underneath the Hollywood smog
A poodle may doodle your dog
Without some restraint
The Pope ain't a saint
So Hells Angels sleep with their hog
The most important single word is "love".
Angels speak it from above.
But, if the limit is two words,
the best expression is "doodle birds".
An egg she laid, or was it two
Can't remember; haven't a clue
But one thing I know, and it's for sure
The rooster crows -- Cock-a-doodle-doo
latent art
sometimes doodle shows
nice picture
showery blue air
A big, menacing house flaps
old chicken shadow
covers landscape dawn
rooster stocks crowing out loud

A noisy, Rhode Island Red rooster
Awoke, from his dreams, Simon Schuster.
Simon got mad as heck
And adjusted Red's neck.
Now Red doesn't crow like he uster.
rooster wakes the dawn
sound of hens fluttering wings
tender grass springs out

Poetry Contest: Morning Praise
Sponsored by: Raul Moreno
sounds like a cluck, not a cock-a-doodle-do
a barnyard is nearby, country is the clue
I strain to listen, but the sound is gone
Now I hear hooting down by my pond
Fresh off the teat, throttle on bottle
Fresh on the feet, waddled a toddle
Tot spit out a noodle
Then spit out a doodle
"MOM!...You gotta swaddle my waddle!"
The cock wakes her up in the morning
she loves his cocka doodle ring
its longer then hubbies thing
thicker then a piece of string
Perhaps a vibrator that sings ?
young chicks
become
old hens
young cocks
become
old dreamers
remembering
cock-a-doodle-doo
cock-a-doodle-doo
while the hens cluck
in their sweet dreams
I so love this form called Footle
It allows the poet to doodle
With so few words
Whether right or absurd
Now read , short trip, lets tootle
< ;-) >
I had a tasty cock-a-doodle stew
Now I crow at dawn as cockerels do
I pulled a sweet hen
And now and again
We dine on an omelette made for two.
There once was a chicken called ‘Polly’,
whose name sounded happy and jolly,
‘til one morning at two,
she crowed, “cock-a-doo,”
now our chook is a rooster called Wally.
Fun time
Yum time
Doodle de doo time
Time for you
Time for me
Nothing but you and me ~
Wheeee!
No time to lose
More time to snooze
Just a kiss
That’s what I miss.
