An Egg She Laid

An egg she laid, or was it two
  Can't remember; haven't a clue
But one thing I know, and it's for sure
  The rooster crows -- Cock-a-doodle-doo

Mine have their own language but it cannot be typed in English for we have no keys that type variety of beak sounds.
