Distasteful and Disgraceful

Distasteful and Disgraceful

What we realized about things racial,
Are both distasteful  and disgraceful;
Biased being;
Terrible seeing;
Our minds must be broad and spatial.

Premium Member Very Disturbed

There are times when I wonder what it would be like If poetry sites were no longer, would I become unladylike Use distasteful words Be very disturbed Yelling bad words from my normally joyous wind pipe

State of the Nation

Nature unchaste,
river waste drifts;
distasteful scene.

Shorebirds in flight,
gray and white gulls;
despite foul winds.

Mercury fear;
poison-smeared fish
make dreary food.

Premium Member Wait Five Minutes

Don't like the weather... wait 5 minutes, then shoot yourself in the face An old saying with a twist but better than leaping face first into a fireplace That surely would be painful Maybe even distasteful Need to wear a mask to disguise your disfigurement at the marketplace

Is Going Underground Too Distasteful For My Funeral

what about slipped away
fade to black
Feeling good too astray
Captain caveman theme too surreal
This was one of his favourites
and have an hour and a half of silence
or dumb and dumbers
annoying noise
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4AmLcBLZWY&ab_channel=Movieclips
a single noise to drive you all away
Have you heard this
This
now you have

Hmmmm

My sweet tooth becomes the bane of my existence
The very reason for my all consuming cravings
Be banished thou distasteful bean
Allow me of a good figure to dream!
Wherever I turn thou claims your presence
Hue so rich, aroma so wholesome! I wince
You delight in your delicacy yet you fail to see
My willpower I warn you will someday come back to me!!

Premium Member Licking the Cone

Licking The Cone Written: by Miracle Man 9-12-2019 Morning musings drift past me, From a state of near forgetfulness. Life has been a giant ice cream cone Littered with many flavors., And I endeavor to separate the one’s I love, From the distasteful, that rest there. God has blessed me, With eighty years to lick this cone.

Only If

If I can travel back in time
I wouldn't waste my time
Going out of my mind
Being dumb or blind
I surely would speak my mind
Spend more time
Educating my mind
So I wouldn't be blind
When others choose to waste my time
Trying to drive me out of my mind
Stealing my precious time
Being selfish and unkind
Vindictive and distasteful
Dishonest and unfaithful.

The Fly

The fly lurks around putrid matter,
and delights in savouring human waste.
The distasteful things we love to hate
satisfy his insatiable taste
for foul smelling things that are better
cast in the bin from our very sight.
He does not savour anything right,
he comes to dine without our request
for he is the most unpleasant guest
to find at the table whilst we feast.

words

You tell me I feel like home,
but not that it's solely in name.
Your words are woven with lace--
delicate, flowery, light.
They coil and crease,
a nasty, distasteful undertone.
Rough edges scrape my knuckles,
bloody bruises bloom.
Malice nestled in every utterance.
I crack you open,
like the book you told me you were
but your words are written in invisible ink.

Premium Member Naughty Johnny

Naughty Johnny's behavior still shocks us
When we try to correct him he mocks us
"My rude behavior
I greatly savor
Just for you, I'll become more obnoxious!"

"Obnoxious" means extremely unpleasant, offensive, or distasteful behavior. What can parents do to address obnoxious behavior in their children?

For Whom Do You Mourn

FOR WHOM DO YOU MOURN
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS

Before you mourn me on that eventual day
There are answers you need to face now, today
Did I make you happy did you feel secure
Or was it distasteful, a trial you had to endure
Did you make it easy, pleasurable for me to try
Or was it a ruse, being yoked to an everyday lie
Survey your responses are any a plus
If no, start this day to mourn both of us

Covering my heart From passages symbolic I missed all this tasteful dismay I love the love of her From passages symbolic Yet she pays not me any attention I love the love of her When will she acknowledge me Yet she pays not me any attentions Amidst all this distasteful dismay When will she acknowledge me Covering my heart

Oh Time

Oh time! Why art thou so hasteful,
only when fun I doth haveth?
When life seems oh so distasteful,
Then thy weight thou always doth draggeth.

Oh time! With thee I'm oft'n wasteful,
When life churns me melancholy.
Thy dearth on my hands, often is fateful
and leadeth to adversity.

Oh time! Abide with me faithful,
Endure with my labourly quest.
For thy synergy, I'm eternally grateful
My patience rewards me with zest.

Satan Plays

Satan plays
By Michelle Morris
22/11/2022

Human nature
Can be distasteful
So many vices
At the right prices

Putting hedonism
Power and greed
Above everyone's
Pride and integrity

What is it
That drives the dark?
This sifting sand
Of bitter arts?

What more
Can the light do?
How many angels
Need to show the truth?

Human nature
Choice and Fate
Heaven waits
While Satan plays

Premium Member Lifes Never Easy

Life’s Never Easy Written: by Tom Wright 7-25-2016 God didn’t promise that life would be easy, Or distasteful things wouldn’t find a place. But often as we watch, life becomes sleazy, It’s during these times many seek God’s face. But we’re not to pray when only in need, But to have a daily relationship with God; We should heed His word and plant His seed, With sincerity and love, not from a facade;

What To Call It

What to call it
This feeling inside
It’s searching for weakness
I’m trying to hide

What to call it
This feeling deep down
Its harsh and distasteful
It wants me to drown

What to call it
This horror unseen
Heart clouded with darkness
With no trace of green

What to call it
This symptom unknown
It’s driving me crazy
Foul seeds it has sown

What to call it
It has an ill air
I now have decided
To call it despair

Perilous Fare

It's strange to me,
to find myself smitten
with a man

who hesitates
on even the most inapt situations
that need not urgency

yet I adore him
for all the stars he ate
and words his tongue forgot to savor

when did love become so distasteful
for you, dear

I've relished in your zest
of aimless compulsions
and my belly discerns
sweet from rotten

yet I do not uproot
the fruit
you so selfishly sprout,
for it is mine
all mine to devour

Premium Member Can This Be Poetry

Can it be poetry
If it makes no sense?
Can it be poetry
If it has to be explained?
Can it be poetry if it rolls around moaning and groaning?
Can it be poetry if it is mean and distasteful?
Can if be poetry if it is unsure of itself?
What if it is unready to be shared?
What if it is incomplete?
Can it be poetry if it is slick and sharp?
What if it hurts my feelings?
Is it poetry then?
Who gets to make the call?
What if even the poet is underwhelmed?
Is it poetry then?

If While

If while on this Earth
I treat you bad,
please forgive me
for making you sad...

If while on this Earth
I curse at you,
please forgive me
for my ignorance showing through...

If while on this Earth
I show you no gratitude,
please forgive me
for my distasteful attitude...

If while on this Earth
I do any hurtful act,
please forgive me
for hiding my tact...

If while on this Earth
you still give me your love,
I know that you've been sent
for me...from the Heavens above.
