Satan Plays

Satan plays
By Michelle Morris

Human nature
Can be distasteful
So many vices
At the right prices

Putting hedonism
Power and greed
Above everyone's
Pride and integrity

What is it
That drives the dark?
This sifting sand
Of bitter arts?

What more
Can the light do?
How many angels
Need to show the truth?

Human nature
Choice and Fate
Heaven waits
While Satan plays
